The price is right

Illogical Elf, Amazon

  • Summary: Great controller for the price. I ordered it a couple months ago, plugged in and started playing. Easy to use, and so far I've found it works wonderfully with every game I've tried it with. I haven't messed with the settings much and find the standard settings to be fine for the casual gamer that I am. I would reccomend this to someone new to emulation or someone like myself who is only lightly involved in emulation.

  • Summary: Great buy, just have to figure out to put the setting to use the old D-pad instead of the newer controls. Also the numbers on the pad don't match what it said on my computer. Ex. To set up button 3 as the B button of an old nintendo controller you have to say button 4 is B.

Great Controller for PC and Mac

Strauss "The Liver is Evil", Amazon
17 October 2007
  • Summary: Great solid controller. And I mean solid. Good balance. PS gamers should feel right at home and it works with MacOS X as well (though the rumble feature not there much for MacOS X). Someone said the shoulder buttons are uncomfortable. Well different strokes for different folks as I don't have a problem with sweaty hands. The two analog sticks actually "feel" better than the PS controller so you can actually have better control in FPS and driving games.

an ALMOST perfect gamepad..

am777, Amazon

  • Summary: The logitech rumblepad 2 + cordless rumblepad are probly the best pc gamepads on the market - they have many great features and are similar in configuration to a PS2 controller - EXCEPT theres one major flaw i noticed - the joysticks do not stay perfectly centered. This gets annoying when playing a game that needs perfect sensitivity lke a driving game or flying game.

Works for me

beeristasty "I likes bikes", Amazon
14 April 2006
  • Summary: Works for the game I bought it for: NFS: Most Wanted. Contrary to what some have said, the rumble feature does work with NFS:MW. Not sure if it was a patch EA put out, but it works. All you have to do is select the controller from the in game options menu, then hit the "4" button to enable it (rumble feature). It says it right there, although it's kind of hard to notice. The gamepad seems durable, haven't really put it to much use since my semester got busy.

Good enough for whatever you need a controller for

D. J. Rich, Amazon
14 October 2005
  • Summary: There's not much to tell; what you see is what you get. It fits in your hand well enough. My only real beef with the thing is that the joypad has a square outside instead of round. It can make moving a serious pain. And if you're going to get this, try the version without rumble. Not many PC games, even console ports, support vibration.
