A subjective critique of a pad causing pain
31 July 2014
Summary: A non-ergonomic design, the rumble is weak compared to PS4 controller and the triggers are painful to press due to high resistance. The only plus that I can see is the rubber underside and side finish. That helps with sweaty hands (like mine).
Summary: In terms of controllers, I am mainly used to using the PlayStation dualshock controllers (for PS1 through PS3) and I simply did not like the overall feel of this controller. My main complaint with the controller though, is that the analog stick wasn't nearly as responsive as I'm used to with PS...
Summary: I have (had) two of these. Only one still works. The cable on the other has worn through at the controller, I can see the red wire is completely broken just looking at it. Other than that, they worked great.
Summary: I got this gamepad for racing games and all I can say is that it's a letdown from the older Logitech Gamepad 2. The dead zones take up about half of the entire analog stick and the triggers are awkward. Go with the XBox controller for Windows and you'll be happier.
Summary: If the joystick had funcioned properly I am sure that this would be an outstanding item. I dont blame Newegg. Never had a problem before. Suspect bad luck. Ill try again.
Pros: Comfortable, effortless install. Windows recognized immediately. Good price (on Sale).
Cons: Left joystick was defective on the right side. Try to turn or move right and would actually move left. tried left, moved left. Completed calibration, all settings correct. First use and cannot use it to play the games that I want.
Summary: Pros: The controller is very sturdy. It is also about as heavy as an xbox 360 controller which is a plus for me. The grip is very comfortable and all the controls are great except for a few. I haven't been able to try out the rumble. Cons: The D-Pad shifts around way too much.
Summary: I got this for use with OnLive, as I wanted to use something besides my keyboard for Virtua Tennis. I also just got the OnLive microconsole--which comes with a controller--and that works well.
Pros: Controller has a decent case and is comfortable to hold...but...
Cons: The dpad on this rotates about 20 degrees, making it nearly impossible to use. Perhaps a manufacturing defect? The Analogue sticks are stiff and frequently have unintended movement. I was sorely disappointed.
