adapter failed just after warranty

Summary: It must have a doomsday chip installed that counts days and when it reaches 400 days it fails. Will not do it again at this price. Stay away from Logitech.
Cons: Paired when new but one month after warranty it failed to pair and Logitech said to buy another one. Their 650 and 700 remotes also fail. I bought four of them and have to call tech support every three months because they do not hold their program.
Summary: Do your research before you buy this. I love my Harmoney remote and most things that Logitech puts out, but this product is the exception.
Pros: When it worked, it was awesome! When I bought it, it was the only one that had power on/off function.
Cons: Ironically, the reason I bought it, is also the reason I've unplugged and quit using it. My PS3 kept getting powered on randomly. This didn't start for several months after i bought the adapter, so I didn't immediately make the connection that it was the adapter. I couldn't figure out why this wa...
Summary: I'm hoping that an RMA can correct the issue. I really don't want to have to deal with Logitech on this as many people have reported waiting several weeks for a working replacement. If the RMA fixes the problem I'll come back and update this.
Pros: Speedy shipping, as always.
Cons: It doesn't pair at all. After doing some research online I found that early models of the adapter have issues pairing with either the slim PS3 or early models of the original PS3. I have had my PS3 for almost 3 years and (lucky me) I happened to get one of the early models of the adapter from New...
Summary: This problem occurs maybe once a week or more, and it is very very frustrating to have to manually power cycle the ps3 every time this happens. Logitech is aware of the problem, and their only recommendation is to move the adapter to a different location to reduce interference.
Pros: Sometimes turns on my ps3 without the need for the ps3 controller...
Cons: This thing doesn't always work! Do a search on the internet for "logitech ps3 adapter unpairing," and you will find many people complaining about how the ps3 adapter causes bluetooth interference! It makes it so that the regular ps3 controllers won't even pair with the ps3 or even turn it on! On ...
Summary: Save your money, don't buy this, and find another alternative unless you want to pay Logitech $70+ a year for the priviledge of having to buy a new one every year. Like others here have said, great delivery service from Amanzon, pricey but is easy to setup and works great, however, count on it...
