Summary: I am not big of racing games or wheels. The unit itself is nice, it simply works. However if you don't plan on having this thing setup 24/7 do not buy it. The pictures do not show any wires and it does not mention how many wires it has. You have to hook a wire from the pedals and gear shifter to the wheel and then from the wheel to the wall jack and to the USB.
Summary: Everything is great about this....but the shifter (which is pretty darn important). With only 6 total positions for gears....that means you have to put reverse on a button for most games...which is terrible. Also there are some cars I have played that have 7 gears...basically making those cars unplayable. Other than those HUGE problems this wheel is amazing. Pedals are solid, stay in place on carpet, and react like real world pedals.
Excerpt: overall this is an excellent product. the one thing I would gig them on is the usb connector was sloppily made and the wheel would not work at all until I put another usb connector between the wheel and the ps3
Summary: I bought my g27 off of amazon this past black friday and it came in the following tuesday and have been using it ever since. Startin about 2 days ago after about an hour of gameplay on gran turismo 6, my wheel would go out of alignment leftward. Now, as soon as i turn on the system, the wheel dosen't go through the full calibration cycle and instantly goes out of alignment. I tried to unplug it and plug it back in but it still goes to the left instantly.
Summary: Bought it originally to work on my PS2. Since then I've become more of a computer gamer. I don't own a PC because Windows is a waste of time and nearly all software I need requires Mac OS, so here I am. Logitech, for whatever reason, has decided not to port their drivers to work with Mac OS, which seems to be a recurring theme with Logitech. As great as their products are, for this reason alone I will have to stop buying their products.
Summary: Hi All, Before buying this product I contacted Playseat support to get some clarity on a number of issues, is the product compatible with my playseat and how it should be mounted if it does not come with any screws, as mentioned by a number of reviewers. Playseat emailed back within 24hrs to confirm that the product did not come with any screws because screws were not necessary to mount this gearshift holder, they also sent me a number of pictures of a demo seat in their...
Summary: I read a lot of reviews before selecting this wheel, and as a new product (that is, for the first couple weeks I've had it), it worked great. Mostly playing GTR Evolution. Then, slowly over the past couple weeks, it does not center itself when it calibrates on system startup, or when you reset the wheel by unplugging it/powering down. It grows more and more off-center with each calibration/use, such that it's now very awkward to use the paddle shifters.
Excerpt: Gets the job done. It lacks an accurate brake system and higher tolerance pedals but you will only need that for the serious sims like iRacing. Logitech will not sell parts and these things eventually wear out. You have to send it in for repair but they have been known to be generous in the past. Logitech is sometimes slow to fix engineering faults. Bodnar cable can add more bit depth for accuracy.
