Summary: This is MASSIVELY over-priced, under-resourced and all around not worth your time. GO to a hardware store, spend $1 and buy a piece of metal 15 inches long. Drill two holes in it and then clamp it to the wheel support (using the wheel's on clamps. Oh, spend another quarter and get two machine screws (you would have to buy these anyway since it doesn't come with them). You just saved yourself over $40 and have a far superior product.
Summary: its was really great wheel when i bought it but not its noisy + feedback problems on the right side so ya i wont recommend anyone to buy it unless there is a fix for that or he wants it for only 2 moths or less because it broke after 2 months,...
Summary: Since day1, this wheel never worked right. It had the common problem where everything works EXCEPT for the steering! Turning the wheel would do absolutely nothing, even while in the Logitech test portion of the setup. Tried everything to no avail. The thing sat around unused for a while as I was busy with other things, and upon going back to it, it had the same issue, even though I had in the mean time updated my PC to the latest hardware.
Summary: This wheel died about one month after I purchased it. It worked fine but then just died. There is no response from the wheel at all when turned on. Because of it's weight it's too expense to ship for warranty repair. A total waste of money.
Summary: For a while, I've been looking forward to playing with the g27 wheel. Within 5hours of game play, the steering alignment was altered. The center of the wheel was 30 degrees off. After this problem prevailed I google'd this problem. Apparently the alignment is a common issue with the Logitech g27 racing wheel.
Summary: First of all this review is from a hard core fan of both Logitech and racing. I own a G700, a G500, a G15(first gen) and several cheap headsets and speakers from logitech. I've pretty much come to know what kind of quality to expect from Logitech, some stuff breaks down, some items are among the best in the industry, so when I finally opened my G27 bought straight from amazon I was super excited, but then I started noticing some issues.
Summary: I just bought the Joey Logano playseat and really like it. Unfortunately, it doesn't come with a provision to mount the G25 or G27 shifter. There are at least two shifter mounts Playseat offers. This one and another expensive option where the shifter mounts down by the seat. Personally, I like the shifter up high by the wheel so I can easily see and get to the buttons. I'm using the wheel's clamps to mount the wheel to the playseat.
Excerpt: I have had this wheel about 2 and a half years now and I must say, it has exceeded expectations. I have over 3000 hours of use on it and it is still running strong, mind you with a few tweaks being done.
Summary: First off, this "add on" should be included with the actual Playseat itself. I was VERY disappointed when I opened the box. The item description is pretty vague but says it's specifically for the G27 clutch system and compatible with ALL playseats. I was shocked to uncap the cardboard tube the item was packaged in only to find a single piece of metal that had a couple of holes drilled in it with a 90 degree bend. No mounting hardware or instructions are included!
Summary: I am a big race simulator fan and finally made the big leap to the G27. I actually bought it directly from Logitech.com. Anyway, I received it and immediately set it up to play GT5. For the first couple of hours it worked great and really makes racing games more immersive. However, I noticed that in the middle of a race the wheel would get horribly misaligned - sometimes as much as 90 degrees to the left in order to drive straight.
