Nothing matches the raw badassery of drifting a sports car with a six-digit sticker price through a white-knuckled hairpin turn. But, here’s the reality: Unless you have an enormous bankroll and a good lawyer, that’s probably not a great idea. Read more

    • Produces precise steering across a number of virtual road conditions. Bright LED indicator illuminates when you need to shift. Surprisingly quiet operation. Mmmm … lea...
    • Doesn’t quite blow its (cheaper) predecessor out of the water. Only Windows- and PlayStation-compatible. Cramped pedals curse players who are lead-footed

According to reviewers, the Logitech G27 Racing Wheel has nearly everything you could possibly expect from a steering wheel controller. Its force feedback and six-gear shifter and clutch are considered the best in the business, and the 900-degree turn capability and leather wheel all create an impeccable feel and the utmost realism. The G25, then, is still a fantastic racing wheel and at £160 it's a bargain for such a serious simulator setup. By comparison, the G27 brings little to the table for its somewhat crazy price tag. Read more

    • Full sim setup, Great force feedback
    • Crazy price, Little extra over the G25

I would like to mention that as of now the G27 is compatible with PS2, PS3, and PC only. It has no XBOX 360 support. Out of the box, the plug and play works perfectly; no problems whatsoever, which is awesome of course. Stay tune for the full review! Read more

I've been using the new G27 for about a month now and overall a very nice racing wheel and an upgrade from my older Logitech Momo. Price may be a little high compared to the Momo from a relative value standpoint, although if you watch prices at Amazon you can buy it sunstantially below the MSRP. The newer the games the easier it is to set up and use the G27 wheel. Difficult or not possible to use with older Need for Speed games. Read more or see product

There next wheel should have force feed back in the peddles so you can feel the road under your feet and in the shifter to feel the oscillating feel of the transmission. Read more

    • I was the owner of the G25 from the day it came out. When the G27 came out I read that there was little differance betteen the two. That only the shifter was improved ...
    • Only one the up and down shifting is gone. But I read it had to go to make way for the much imoproved shifter feel

I planned on using this product with my PC for sim racing, but it took away so much of PC performance, it made it impossible. Thats not a problem if you have a computer that runs whatever your playing pretty well to begin with. It is a great entry-level wheel for hard-core simulated racing, and a great top of the line wheel for PS3 racers. The worst about it so far was finding a place to mount it. Make sure you have one in mind when you buy it. Read more

I bought the Logitech G27 to play Gran Turismo 5 on PS3. This set up was better then I thought it would be. Very realistic feel and feedback for what it is. The leather wrapped steering wheel and shift knob feels great. The feedback works great (the wheel even vibrates if you lug the motor in GT5, now that's attention to detail). It makes playing GT5 way more fun. I would recommend the G27 to anyone with GT5. Read more
