Summary: it is less sensative than the usb version. Meaning that its movements seem to be more deliberate with your intentions and no mistaken movements. Unfortunately it is not rechargable so we purchased rechargable batteries.
Summary: Although I haven't used this joystick for awhile, been using other games, it is a very companionable appliance. If you think that a CFS game is fun, give this a try. It not only enhances play but makes it much more convenient.
Summary: I bought this to replace my previous joystick...the same model, which lasted through about 7 years of abuse before finally calling it quits. There aren't many options out there for wireless joysticks, but even if there were I'd recommend this one. The tri-point base is very stable, it doesn't slide on any desk I've had, the buttons and each axis are responsive.
Summary: My grandsons are using the joystick with Flight Simulator X. I normally use the Saitek X52 which has more features, but I find the cordless Logitech Freedom to be great fun when runnig FSX on my 46" HDTV. You can't beat it for the price.
Summary: This product went into service here about a month ago over here. Initially there was some confusion as to how the unit should work. A little tap on the face-button of the wireless receiver woke the unit up and brought everything to life. For some reason no mention of this step was made obvious in the joystick instructions. It has been smooth sailing ever since !
Summary: I agree with the above review: this joystick feels very smooth. As that review caught my attention and was eventually the proverbial straw that convinced me to pony up the extra twenty-five bucks for a wireless joystick, I thought I might help to further describe how this stick feels "smooth." Out of the box, two characteristics define this joystick: smooth and fast. Both traits can be easily altered via Logitech's very good software package.
Wireless, without the hassle. No setup needed in WinXP

Summary: I like the fact that I can put the batteries in, connect the usb, push a button, and be using the joystick in less than 90 seconds. I don't like installing manufacturer's software and I never register my product, why would you? Batteries last as long as the 9v does in my smoke alarm.
Excellent Joystick, better than I expected for Logitech

Summary: I regularly play IL 2 Sturmovik, and have been with a Logitech Wingman Force for about a year. I was really disapointed with the contruction of the Wingman ForceFeedback stick, sloppy centering, hesitant responce. Anyway, I purchased the Logitech Cordless Freedom 2.4 Cordless and have to say, this is a VERY well contructed joystick, excellent centering, seamless movement response even though it's wireless and ergonomically well set up ( if your right handed)...
