Summary: it is less sensative than the usb version. Meaning that its movements seem to be more deliberate with your intentions and no mistaken movements. Unfortunately it is not rechargable so we purchased rechargable batteries. would prefer it to come as a rechargable unit
Summary: Although I haven't used this joystick for awhile, been using other games, it is a very companionable appliance. If you think that a CFS game is fun, give this a try. It not only enhances play but makes it much more convenient.
Summary: I bought this to replace my previous joystick...the same model, which lasted through about 7 years of abuse before finally calling it quits. There aren't many options out there for wireless joysticks, but even if there were I'd recommend this one.
Summary: My grandsons are using the joystick with Flight Simulator X. I normally use the Saitek X52 which has more features, but I find the cordless Logitech Freedom to be great fun when runnig FSX on my 46" HDTV. You can't beat it for the price.
Summary: This product went into service here about a month ago over here. Initially there was some confusion as to how the unit should work. A little tap on the face-button of the wireless receiver woke the unit up and brought everything to life.
Logitech Freedom is a great product & it eliminates wire clutter.

Summary: Some reviewers said the joystick was too sensitive. I disagree b/c most people like to play in 3rd person view. To me 3rd person view is there so you can look around your aircraft & mind you surroundings. That way you don't hit the deck flying to low or side-swipe a tree in a tight situation.
Pros: This product speaks for itself. I've always trusted Logitech when it comes to controllers & pc hardware so it didn't take much to choose this over a Saitek. You pretty much Plug & Play. It' very responsive, has great range, & doesn't get drown out by my router b/c it can be run at higher frequenc...
Cons: When I move the transmitter it disconnects & reconnects itself to my computer. So don't move the transmitter when you're using it or it'll disconnect itself from the joystick. I'm not sure if this is related to one another but I had to setup/ calibrate my joystick using windows b/c after I instal...
Pros: Really smooth, lots of buttons, works great. I use it for driving and flying mostly, haven't tried a shooter yet. I had 2 Logitech Wingman Extreme before this on and they was great also but the wireless is the only way, glad I made the step up. Great stick at great price, way to go Newegg!!!
Cons: Can't think of any, some say that it's to touchy?? might be on a shooter will have to try it.
