Summary: I don't regret buying it, but I won't buy another one.
Pros: Hey, it's wireless and that part of it works great. It also has lots of buttons that are fully programmable to do anything including keyboard shortcuts. The drivers installed relatively pain free.
Cons: I've had this joystick for about three years now. After using it on and off in racing car games and flight simulators it is not nearly as precise as it once. The centering mechanism is now weak and there is quite a big null zone now.
Summary: What can I say? It died (calibration went completely wonky) exactly 2 weeks after the 1 year mark, causing me to miss out on the warranty. Second logitech product to die on my this year. Like an above poster, the calibration wouldn't allow the joystick to go top-left or bottom-right.
Pros: Wireless, easy to configure
Cons: Chews through batteries, poor product quality.
Summary: I think the title of my review says it all. This is a well designed joystick and very responsive, but they just don't last. I'm not one of those gorilla gamers who have to duct tape their joysticks down to a table either.
A great concept, and great PHYSICAL execution, but one glaring software defect which nearly ruins the Logitech Freedom 2.4Ghz.

Summary: I purchased this very recently, knowing (a) that it was a discontinued model, and (b) that there are some issues with it. However, I really wanted to have a real full-function joystick I could use with my newly-upgraded-to-top-of-the-line Home Theater PC.
