Bring Back Logitech Freedom 2.4 GHz Cordless Joystick
22 March 2016
Summary: This is by far the best joystick on the market ever. I have been using this joystick for over 10 Years on Microsoft Flight Simulator Programs. Versions MS Flight Simulator 2000 To Flight Simulator FSX. Joystick works flawessly, and is wireless.
Summary: Do not buy this. It went out of calibration within one week. No way to recalibrate. It always turns left, and no way to fix it. Online info is no help at all. This is a big wast of money. Logitech ought to be class action sued for this piece of junk.
Summary: THIS JOYSTICK SOUNDS GREAT BUT FOR ME I COULDNT GET IT TO WORK WITH VISTA I TRYED EVERTHING SO I HAD TO RETURN IT N I GOT THRUSTMASTER WORKS GREAT WITH VISTA SO NO COMMENT ON LOGITECH JOYSTICK?
Summary: After recalibrating, I can fly for maybe a minute before one or more axes lose it altogether. Even with the joystick centered, the axes output as if they were at full displacement. Utterly useless device. Logitech stuff is usually good!
Pros: Looks nice. Wireless. Worked well for about an hour.
Cons: Must recalibrate every few minutes to get even reasonable performance. Poor quality components. Short range (maybe 3 ft.).
Cons: Before I even had to switch out the first set of batteries I've lost calibration on my y and z axes. The supposed auto-calibration does nothing to fix this and I'm stuck in either a constant slow corkscrew or forced to use a largely asymmetrical dead zone.
Logitech Freedom is a great product & it eliminates wire clutter.

Summary: Some reviewers said the joystick was too sensitive. I disagree b/c most people like to play in 3rd person view. To me 3rd person view is there so you can look around your aircraft & mind you surroundings. That way you don't hit the deck flying to low or side-swipe a tree in a tight situation.
Pros: This product speaks for itself. I've always trusted Logitech when it comes to controllers & pc hardware so it didn't take much to choose this over a Saitek. You pretty much Plug & Play. It' very responsive, has great range, & doesn't get drown out by my router b/c it can be run at higher frequenc...
Cons: When I move the transmitter it disconnects & reconnects itself to my computer. So don't move the transmitter when you're using it or it'll disconnect itself from the joystick. I'm not sure if this is related to one another but I had to setup/ calibrate my joystick using windows b/c after I instal...
Pros: Really smooth, lots of buttons, works great. I use it for driving and flying mostly, haven't tried a shooter yet. I had 2 Logitech Wingman Extreme before this on and they was great also but the wireless is the only way, glad I made the step up. Great stick at great price, way to go Newegg!!!
Cons: Can't think of any, some say that it's to touchy?? might be on a shooter will have to try it.
