Summary: This is a replacement for the 6 year old Wingman Force Feedback Model. The installation is easy, It automatically updates previously installed software. I fly WWII aircraft -See, Decide, Attack, Coffee Break. This is to say Logitech has created a joystick that can perform fluid and controlled movements. The aircraft can be adjusted to fly as if it was set to AutoPilot -wonderful aid to flying in formation. It allows me to use buttons, flaps up / down, etc.
Summary: I like it a lot, but only after much alteration of the sensitivity bands in the game I most comonly use it in. It is WAY too sensitive in the first milimeter of movment. Your plane with jink up and down as if you were pulling half way back. I turned down the sensitivity to the lowest it would go to no avail, although it did help a little. What I DO like about it is that once I got it's freaking sensitivity down, I was able to get it to be VERY persice.
Summary: I have been gaming for a long time now, and this by far is the worst joystick i have ever used. The force feedback on this joystick is nothing. If you are thinking of getting this, DON'T!!! When i read the reviews, i thought these people knew what they were talking about. They obviosly didn't. When i loaded the software into my computer, (I'm running off of vista) and tested it out, i could barely feel anything.
Summary: I am using this joystick primarily with Flight Simulator X. After re-assigning the buttons the way I like them, the joystick performed quite well. My only complaint is that I do not like the way it centers. I am not getting positive feelback when centering the stick. This sometimes makes it difficult to maintain level flight.
Other then that, it is well built and priced right.
Excerpt: "The Logitech Force 3D Pro Joystick was a great buy for me. It's very sleek and stylish and the perfect size for my desk (at about 8"x8"). The grip is specifically desinged for right-handed people which wasn't a problem for me but is something to bear in mind. It automatically finds games on the computer and assigns keys appropriately which is a very good feature. The accompanying profiling software is easy to use which meant older games could still ...
