Summary: Bought used but came to me with no signs of use. Works perfectly and as expected. Simply awesome joystick with GREAT construction (especially the rudder pedals). Would HIGHLY recommend for any novice or advanced user!
Summary: To use the vernacular from my youth, "This thing is so dope." I took an introductory pilot lesson and learned that rudders(pedals) are really important for learning to fly. Who would have thought? Suddenly, my mouse/keyboard approach didn't feel like it was actually helping me learn. I bought this set up, and now flight simulators feel way better.
Summary: I must say that I bought the Logitech G940 Flight System even after reading the Negative reviews. I did not make a mistake. If there is a better Flight control system out there I have yet to find it. Simple to use and set up. Just follow the instructions and you are there. I have had no problems with it as of yet, and I don't expect to in the near future. Well put together and very functional, and the force feedback is a blast as well.
Summary: This is simply an AWESOME joystick, throttle, and rudder set. It's very well made and you can tell, it's a quality product and the weight is very good so it doesn't slide all over the place. There is also plenty of help from the Logitech website as well. I highly recommend this to anyone who wants to get serious about flying a sim.
Summary: This is my fourth upgrade over the last 10 years. I think that after using this control system it is the most realistic. The new generation force feed back is incredible. No more trying to control what your flying when the force feed back kicks in. For the quality and the expertise that went into building this system, it was well worth the money.

Summary: The video review: -------------------------- The first part of the video/intro just shows some games I've used the G940 with (rather long). If you just want to see the G940 unit in the video, skip to 3:28 --------------------------- The retail box with everything in it weighs: 15.4 lbs. Joystick weighs: 2.64 lbs Dual Throttle weighs: 2.2 lbs Rudder Pedals weighs: 6.17 lbs Games I've tried this controller with: * IL-2 Sturmovik: 1946 (highly recommend!
Summary: This is great! This is my first set-up with rudder controls, so it's made re-learning flight basics a priority. But this makes you really ramp-up your game. I'm playing IL-2 and it's made the game anew. It's very different when you don't have to focus strictly on controller/keyboard combo as much. One complaint is that Logitech didn't make a profile for this sim, so we're left to a lot of HOTAS programming.
Summary: Works great with my Windows Vista Ultimate PC for IL-2 and Dogfights. Good feel and easy to set up for these products. Have not been able to get the system to work well with my MS Flight Simulator 3. Recommend this product. It is a bit bulky so I did have to make a table to use the G940 with a place to store the rudder pedals under.
Summary: After using the G940 for about a month now, I can say it's the best flight system I've ever used. I've used the MS Sidewinder FF Pro, Saitek X52, CH Flight Yoke and CH Rudder pedals. The build quality is superb, force feedback is awesome and overall system is top-notch. I like the idea of an intergrated flight system that Logitech came up with. I've have used the G940 with FSX, Wings of Prey, Il-2 with great success.
