Built to last... a very short time

Summary: Logitech had a great idea: make a full HOTAS (Hands Off Throttle And Stick) available to customers as an integrated package. But before this system went into production something went wrong -- the wrong person in corporate had a chance to see it. When they looked at it they saw a good product that they wanted to build for cheaper, and cheaper they got. Cheap didn't come in the appearance, but showed after just hours of use.
Summary: Not happy that there is no documentation on how to set up these control, ended up returning them and went with the Saitek Flight Pro which is a shame because Logitech makes good quality products.
Summary: Bought used but came to me with no signs of use. Works perfectly and as expected. Simply awesome joystick with GREAT construction (especially the rudder pedals). Would HIGHLY recommend for any novice or advanced user!
Summary: I honestly really liked this product however after some time the throttle unit began to malfunction and when i called logitech for a replacement they said they no longer make this product and there was no replacement available. needless to say i spent $400 on a stick i can no longer make use of. However if your good at electronic repair there are instructions on how to fix it yourself unless you have it under warranty which I don't.
Summary: To use the vernacular from my youth, "This thing is so dope." I took an introductory pilot lesson and learned that rudders(pedals) are really important for learning to fly. Who would have thought? Suddenly, my mouse/keyboard approach didn't feel like it was actually helping me learn. I bought this set up, and now flight simulators feel way better.
Summary: I must say that I bought the Logitech G940 Flight System even after reading the Negative reviews. I did not make a mistake. If there is a better Flight control system out there I have yet to find it. Simple to use and set up. Just follow the instructions and you are there. I have had no problems with it as of yet, and I don't expect to in the near future. Well put together and very functional, and the force feedback is a blast as well.
Summary: This is simply an AWESOME joystick, throttle, and rudder set. It's very well made and you can tell, it's a quality product and the weight is very good so it doesn't slide all over the place. There is also plenty of help from the Logitech website as well. I highly recommend this to anyone who wants to get serious about flying a sim.
Summary: I bought this system because I am obtaining my Private Pilot's License and thought this would be a good addition to my simulator. So from that perspective, let me just start by saying that I think the force feedback is gimmicky; it doesn't at all feel like a real plane - at least not like a Cessna 150. So when pulling up, for instance, force is felt on the stick. But then if you pull up more, than there is no increasing resistance.
Summary: This is my fourth upgrade over the last 10 years. I think that after using this control system it is the most realistic. The new generation force feed back is incredible. No more trying to control what your flying when the force feed back kicks in. For the quality and the expertise that went into building this system, it was well worth the money.
