Summary: Poor after sales support: My letter I bought a Logitech G940 Flight System Force Feedback Joystick last July 29, 2014 and the package does not include a user's manual. Can u please furnish me one? An electronic copy will do in case you don't have a hard copy.
Summary: I bought this in April 2012 for about $230. It was an awesome stick, awesome design, loved everything about it. 5 stars. After about a year the throttle rotors began to spike. This is a design flaw and is well documented across the web. I did the fixes and they only worked for about 2 weeks.
Summary: Logitech had a great idea: make a full HOTAS (Hands Off Throttle And Stick) available to customers as an integrated package. But before this system went into production something went wrong -- the wrong person in corporate had a chance to see it.
Summary: Not happy that there is no documentation on how to set up these control, ended up returning them and went with the Saitek Flight Pro which is a shame because Logitech makes good quality products.
Summary: Logitech didn't to their homework when designing this, so you'll have to make a few adjustments, or you'll run into problems. Simple fixes, but the company really should have done this before shipping the product out.
Summary: Bought used but came to me with no signs of use. Works perfectly and as expected. Simply awesome joystick with GREAT construction (especially the rudder pedals). Would HIGHLY recommend for any novice or advanced user!
Summary: I honestly really liked this product however after some time the throttle unit began to malfunction and when i called logitech for a replacement they said they no longer make this product and there was no replacement available. needless to say i spent $400 on a stick i can no longer make use of.
Summary: To use the vernacular from my youth, "This thing is so dope." I took an introductory pilot lesson and learned that rudders(pedals) are really important for learning to fly. Who would have thought? Suddenly, my mouse/keyboard approach didn't feel like it was actually helping me learn.
Summary: I must say that I bought the Logitech G940 Flight System even after reading the Negative reviews. I did not make a mistake. If there is a better Flight control system out there I have yet to find it. Simple to use and set up. Just follow the instructions and you are there.
