Summary: I bought this stick to play Elite Dangerous as I don't have the ridiculous amount of money for a hotas setup and for the price I was floored at how well this thing is. Like I mentioned it does have a bit of play but it is an entry level stick.
Pros: -Easy setup -Great program for making profiles -Pretty solidly built.
Cons: -The stick does have a bit of play/movement but it is a entry level stick. You'll have have to fiddle with deadzones (took me like 2 mins at most to set them up in Elite Dangerous) -The side buttons are a little useless unless you don't use a keyboard.
Summary: I haven't owned it for too long at this point (1.26.2016) but it has fared well since I do not play too many flight games or play casually. I would recommend this to anyone who isn't looking to spend much and isn't looking for separate throttle or rudder controls (you can twist the stick to the left...
Pros: - Wide and heavy enough base - Throttle - Customizable buttons - Twist left/right for rudder
Cons: - The thumb button can easily be accidentally hit I haven't noticed anything else at this time.
Summary: -If you aren't slamming it around and picking it up by the actual stick (pick it up by the base, duh) then it should last far longer then most people claim. -Most the time I can forget about my keyboard except in some circumstances.
Pros: -Great feel -Everything is customizable with the software (downloaded from Logitech) -Works great with Star Citizen (was automatically recognized and buttons assigned) -Good price -Quality is good, feels more durable then I expected based on some of the other reviews -The trigger is real sensitiv...
Cons: -Wish that the button on the thumb was a HAT for more key customization (which would allow me to completely forget about my keyboard and just use this with both hands as intended due to the throttle and buttons)
Summary: Good price for a solid joystick. It's big and the base is heavy, so it doesn't slide around on a desktop. Hat switch is a 'must have' for Flight Sim. The 'twist' rudder works well for ground steering or for flying realistic.
Pros: This was a replacement for the older version that died of old age and heavy use. I like the throttle lever on this version better than the old. Hat switch is great in MS Flight Sim. Lots of programmable buttons.
Summary: I've had it about 6 weeks now and haven't run into any problems. This joystick is a good value, compared to other more expensive controllers.
Pros: Works great with Elite: Dangerous, but you do need to set small "dead zones", otherwise your ship drifts slightly while simply holding the joystick comfortably. That's not a big deal, most games have adjustable dead zones.
Cons: It would be nice if there was a some sort of tactile feedback when the throttle is at 50%, which is dead-stop (acceleration = 0). I set a somewhat larger dead zone for the throttle to compensate. Elite has a lot of commands; I wish there were more buttons. I fixed that by mapping commands to Ctrl...
Summary: The only thing I wish it has as the ability to adjust the tension on the spring. After about 2 hours of yanking and banking on it, it left my wrist the slightest bit tender...then again, I haven't used a joystick in a while.
Pros: More solid feel than I thought it would be. My last joystick was a really old MS Sidewinder that needed a game port. I have a new rig that needed a USB port joystick. I used it for a few hours last night and it worked great. I also like the ability to reprogram the buttons using the Logitech soft...
Cons: For the first time ever, I had a delay on shipping. It took over 2 business days from the time Newegg reported the stick shipped to when FedEx actually showed it in their possession. Even with that, still got it almost on time. Not taking an egg off for that.
Summary: You should consider this joystick if you are in the market. Don't let the reasonable low price cloud your decision about the quality. This is a very high quality computer accessory for gaming.
Pros: Well this was to be a "replacement" joystick for my Extreme 3D Pro that I had been using regularly for over 10 years. I thought the buttons had worn out because WarBirds had a problem assigning functions for two buttons. When the new 3D pro arrived it was tighter than my veteran 3D pro but exhibi...
