Summary: I bought this because i figured i could play War Thunder and Hawkens but Hawkens won't recognize it
Pros: For what you pay it's a great buy and it seems preetty sturdy.
Cons: Bought it for War Thunder and crashed about 1,200 planes in test flight before actually learning how to use a joy stick and to make matters worse the throttle was on the joystick instead of seperate unit so it was even hard to play to my full potenial once i got the hang of it
Pros: It has a lot of buttons and they are located well. The joystick is physically built in a way that makes it easy to use and without excessive hand fatigue
Cons: The ultimate test of a joystick is whether the object on the screen moves when you want it to, and and on that, this joystick fails. Despite calibrating this numerous times, it had just enough slop that it was unsuitable for me. It is acceptable to have a little wiggle from the center postion, bu...
Summary: Outside of warranty... It was a $30 flight stick that lasted beyond the warranty about 6 months. I *might buy another one, but I really want something that will give me 2+ years of life before hardware failure. And I'm willing to pay for that.
Pros: While it worked, great. I paid $30 for it at a well-known blue & gold vendor whose name rhymes with test try.
Cons: Button responsiveness quit after around 18mo. Hat switch is binary (all or nothing). Buttons labeled 5, 3, 4, 6 seem to work in Windows testing, but none of the games work with it. Imagine having ti spam a button 20x before it works. So... it's dead. The Windows 7 diags I was running had no probl...
Summary: I've been gaming for about 15 years now. In that amount of time I've purchased 5 of this particular joystick. they'll only last a year before something stops it from functioning correctly (cheap potometers, plastic parts, slamming against wall in frustration, etc..
Summary: solid base, easy set up, they don't sell replacement parts. the twist for flying wears out. If you plan on doing a lot of flying, or using the twist a lot, spend a few more bucks for a better unit. This a good starter to see if you want to invest in a better stick.
Summary: It looks good, price is good, even better that my first one. The base is huge so if you are cramped for keyboard, mouse and stick space this ain't for you. Overall opinion is this product has gone downhill in a speeding golf cart and rates one egg above junk status.
Pros: this was a great choice. Really liked the software sensitivity settings which I've found on no other stick.
Cons: Had 3 in 10 years, all failed. The last one just POOFED, DEAD, no warning, 20 hours total use is probably a good guess. Compatible games are hard to find, certainly is not BF2 after v150, not that BF2 is in vogue anymore. The best was Jane's AF. Logitech customer support is non existent. There is...
