Summary: IMO this is a very nice controller. The joysticks spring back to center well. I don't use the D-pad. The game comtroller comes with software and makes a easy install. If you don't care about the rumble force Then this game pad is very nice. I use it for my PC playing DIRT. So much better then my old one. If you have ever played with the PS2 this controller feels about the same. Buttons are easy to program. For PC accessories Logitech seems to be the most reliable.
I bought this for my 11 year old son, and he loves it.
The price was great and the delivery was prompt.
What else is there to say?
Except if you're looking for a great product at half the price,
you found it.
Summary: I have enjoyed this, my first PC gamepad; simple to install, easy to learn and easy to navigate. My problems have been basic: fingers get tired after long use, but that is due to "maturity" rather than the device.
Summary: I must be another person who got a lucky gamepad, because I haven't had any problems with it at all, and I've used it quite intensively. I was hunting for reasons to give this less than five stars, but considering the price and the fact that it does exactly what it's supposed to do, I have nothing to complain about. Maybe the other reviewers just got defective gamepads.
Summary: ive played with tons of different controllers, and well this is one of the best in my opinion. though i like my gamecube one better this comes in at a strong 2nd, feel of it is great, the controls are great. ive owned about 3 of them due to my bad temper.
Summary: I bought this gamepad over two years ago now, and it's still working perfectly. Both analog sticks still work, all button still work, and nothing's come loose or scrapped or otherwise. And I use this gamepad quite frequently on TrackMania, NHL, and other games. Though I must warn you of one little bug: the Logitech drivers are awful. DO NOT INSTALL THEM.
Summary: I brought this joystick because it was the closest 'Playstation-style' joystick I could find for a computer. I thought it was okay initially due to its inability to program diagonal directions on the D-pad. Couldn't get it to program 2-keys simultaneously (i.e. Up arrow + left arrow for upper-left diagonal button). I ended up having to use the left axis joystick just so I can move diagonally.
Excerpt: Having bought a few games for my laptop, I thought it was time to get a proper control pad to allow me to experience the games properly. There is only a limited number of games you can play without a control pad and I decided to buy the Logitech Dual Action Gamepad. Having owned each of the Playstation consoles I was immediately attracted to this layout of pad because I felt it would be much easier to use than a completely new design.
Summary: This is easily the best PC gamepad on the market for its price point. What you get is a solid, high quality USB controller with excellent compatibility. It looks and feels almost exactly like Sony's PlayStation controller, so if you're used to that, there's virtually no learning curve. Bottom line: if you're looking for a controller for your PC, this is the one you want.
