Very Disappointed.

Vincent T., Newegg
9 January 2013
  • Summary: I tried to convince myself that things would be fine after reading all of the bad reviews for the refurbished product. Turns out things did not go smooth for me. First of all after unpackaging the product there were scratches on it and signs of use.
  • Pros: Well the wheel works.
  • Cons: The pedal does not work.

Sure wasn't refurbed!!

Erwin M., Newegg
6 December 2012
  • Summary: I will not order a product from a company that don't stand behind what they sell.
  • Pros: The unit looked new but could tell it had been opened as the ties were of diff types. Thats about all the pro there is
  • Cons: Absolutely worthless right out of the box. It went thru the calibration sequences of the right to left 3 times then stopped on the left bump stop with horn button blinking on the fast side. So instead of just sending it back I called Logitech in "India" ha and they wanted me to hook it up to a PC...

User Review

Ian K., Newegg
30 November 2012
  • Pros: Seems like a solid wheel, pedals seemed to work great.
  • Cons: DOA, might be a power issue, it blinks once then does nothing, it might also be the base no way to tell. RMAing it costs ~17 bucks b/c it's heavy (10 lbs), so caveat emptor as it is refurbished they don't all work on the first try sadly.

DOA

Henry G., Newegg
29 November 2012
  • Pros: Clamps on the base worked well. The wheel and pedals both had a good, solid feel to them.
  • Cons: It didn't work. The pedals would work in GT5, but not the steering. The wheel didn't get power from the AC adapter, which read 0 volts on a multimeter. Another adapter, even a generic one, cost more than the return shipping, and may not have solved the issue if the base was defective as well.

Very displeased

Naim M., Newegg
1 November 2012
  • Pros: The wheel and pedals were in good shape.
  • Cons: The product did not come with an AC adapter. So I don't even know if the wheel actually works. The adapter itself isn't common(24V -.75A and I have trouble finding the right pin) so be prepared to really hunt for it online/retail or pay an additional 60 dollars for a universal adapter if you happ...

Dead on Arrival/Misleading Warranty Information

Ramprasad P., Newegg
10 October 2012
  • Pros: None - Could not test it, it was DOA
  • Cons: The product did not work out of the box. It was dead on arrival. Called Newegg, and they were prompt to issue an RMA. But since the product was sold out, I have to now, wait for it. The warrantly information provided is misleading. It says logitech covers it for the first 90 days. But I called lo...

Not for the Thrustmaster 500RS ......

C. Green, Amazon
17 March 2012
  • Summary: This stand will not comfortably handle the size, power, and weight of a Thrustmaster 500 RS .... Even on a moderate FFB setting, the TM 500 will spin this to the floor during an aggressive left or right turn .... A G27 is this stands limit ......
