Summary: The biggest issue with this controller was the fact that the reaction was slw a little bit too much. You click in one direction but on screen there was a delay that you don't get with a original controller or even some other 3rd party controllers. That was a deal breaker for me. Design was a bit too large as well.
Summary: Hi, I did not purchase this from Amazon but I have this controller and my recent experience should be a warning to anyone who is thinking to buy this one. The controller is good. I like the ease of using AA batteries, but at the same time original Sony controllers have good longevity. If not for the price, I would always go with Sony Controllers just for their durability. I have bought 3 used Sony PS2s and one PS3. Never had problems with the original controllers.
Summary: I've never been a big fan of 3rd party controllers. They always felt cheaply made compared to the ones that would come with the console but the cheap price tag would lure me back every time. However there has been one exception; I was a bit shocked when I used a Logitech controller for the original Xbox and actually preferred it to the Xbox controller. Fast forward a few years when I own a PS3 and need a second controller.
Summary: I bought this mostly on the Logitech name. The usb dongle is junk but the controller is decent. Whenever I try to remove the dongle, the cover comes off and exposes the board inside. The controller is comfortable and responsive and maybe I got a bad dongle. Not sure I can recommend or will purchase another one any time soon.
