Woth the money
23 January 2010
Summary: I am very pleased with this keyboard and feel it was very much worth the money. If you want to be able to browse the internet from your couch and want to use the Wii to do it this is definitely the way to go.
Pros: * Quickly connects with no need to setup * Speeds up browsing enormously * Can easily use from across the room with no missed characters.
Summary: Some have mentioned power management. I've noticed mine does shut off if not in use for 5 minutes, and picks back up as soon as you go to use it again.
Pros: Easy setup, works great, very sturdy, great battery life, and finally... it makes life so much easier when typing. Very highly recommended accessory.
Cons: Price - I got mine in person from a well-known store (that only focuses on video games) for $20 when it was marked wrong. That same chain still sells it for $30 normally, and I've already picked up 2 more for friends/family. I don't understand why NewEgg and other places sell it for $15 more then...
Summary: I had been looking for a long range, small wireless keyboard for my HTPC. At long last I found it! It is much, much better than I thought given the fact that it is for a game console; speaking of its usage of the 1st priority being for Wii, it is perfectly fine for PC's except I miss my "Print...
Pros: small yet full size keys; wireless range is quite far(tested at 20'); keys travel very short once they are hit like laptops' keyboards; keystrokes have a very solid, sturdy and good feel to them; looks better than the picture(shiny like white MAC's keyboards); a switch to conserve power at the ba...
Cons: a little pricy; missing the "print screen" key(but then it is not meant for PC);
Summary: Do not yet know if this device has any kind of power management. It seems like it really should, because the power switch is a really tiny slide switch on the underside of the keyboard - the kind of switch that's not designed to be used frequently.
Pros: Looks great, matches Wii, feels sturdy, like a toy should. Hook up was as unbelievably easy as you can imagine. Truly plug-and-play.
Summary: I purchased this for use on Wii, specifically for Animal Crossing and for the internet channel. First off, it's MUCH easier than using the built-in point-and-click keyboard with the Wii remote.
Pros: - Very high quality construction, solid feel. - Perfectly matches the aesthetic of my wii - shiny white plastic, and even the font of the letters and numbers on the keypad match. - Perfect lap size. It's just a smidge under 12" in width, about the size of a laptop keyboard. - Despite what the oth...
Cons: - Pricey, but it can be found for as low as $35 in some places. Shop around, it's definitely worth getting - No LED indicator for capslock. I can understand this omission in light of batter life, though.
Summary: Great tech so far. Solid 4.5 stars. 360 controller for my mouse (using joytokey+MS PC wireless receiver) and this Wii board for my keyboard. Nice!
Pros: I've put together a basic media media center PC and I was frustrated with the lack of cheap mini-sized wireless keyboards. This little guy is *great* My 32-bit XP home install picked it up right away and I was typing on it within seconds. The receiver is nice and small (an example Msoft could lea...
Cons: 1) It's a little bit pricey. Forty-Five snickerdoodles seems a little too expensive; I'd like to see this at about thirty-five for an unreserved 5 stars. 2) Fn key required to initiate a pageup/pagedown. Minor, but I miss them for quick scrolling on a webpage when a mouse wheel is not present. 3)...
