DO NOT BUY

patrick adkins, Amazon

  • Summary: We have had our fridge repaired 8 times in 2 years. They will not replace it. water pours out of the front door because of a poorly designed ice maker. The entire ice maker and all seals have been replaced twice and new heating strips added that were not part of the original design. The warranty says they will replace it after 3 repairs. They won't. Now it just doesn't make ice at all. At least it's no longer destroying our wood floors.

  • Summary: Our GE bit the dust after only 9 years. They don't make them like they used to! So, I read lots of reviews, and looked at **********, *****, a local appliance store, then lastly Sears. Be sure to measure your opening prior to buying. I did this to begin with, and found that measurements online were not correct. It wasn't until I measured the refrigerator at Sears that I found that the same one I originally looked at in ********** would fit. The reviews were spot on.

  • Summary: TERRIBLE REFRIGERATOR. Purchased this Refrigerator Aug. 2013 have replaced entire refrigerator once now the second one has gone down for the 4th time. Ice builds up around fan in freezer and makes so much racket it wakes us up at night we are both a little hard of hearing so one can imagine how loud it is. Solution to this problem is to turn off and let the Ice melt then restart. Now the refrigerator portion of unit will only cool to 55 degrees food is spoiling.

this is not a refrigerator...its a box that whirlpool expects people to keep food in

Joe B, Amazon
15 July 2014
  • Summary: in other words its the most expensive cooler ive ever owned. ive owned this fridge for five months. they continually replace the compressor. this will be the third repair for the same issue. the fridge will (in this order) stop making ice. then it will just dump water out of the ice compartment in the door. then gradually the freezer and food compartment get warmer. ie this is a refrigerator that doesnt stay cold due to known issues.
