Summary: I've had the same white Whirlpool Princess Series 14 cubic ft. refrigerator for 27 years. By the way, it's still working perfectly and I never once had to have it repaired! My mother also has the same refrigerator, but in beige. She never had to repair it either. Yes, I needed more room as the years went on and my family grew...but I managed somehow, not wanting to discard an appliance in perfect working order.
Summary: I Purchase the exact unit 3 months ago. Whirlpool sent out a Whirlpool certified technician and made 4 attempts to repair my leaky water dispenser. He even call Whirlpool repair technician and they couldn't solve problem. I toke three 1/2 days off work to meet with the technician but he could not repair it. Whirlpool recommended to order more parts. I week went by and I never heard from the repair company.
Summary: I decided it was time to replace my old, but faithful Top Freezer (by Whirlpool). It was showing wear and the compressor was starting to sound stressed and worn. Being the mechanical geek I am, I figured it was a good excuse. So, i went out shopping prior to black friday and my options where very slim. There are only 6 or so models that will fit into a 32" opening and this was one...
Summary: I purchased this unit in Feb. 2013 to replace a 20+ year old GE side by side. I was very excited about the updated technology especially the electric bill savings. It worked flawlessly for about 4 months. We had some chicken spoil. There was nothing noticeably wrong with the refrigerator so I assumed it was just bad meat. Two weeks later we had more meat spoil. Up until this point the unit had remained on it's default cooling settings.
Summary: I bought a french door 30" whirlpool fridge on Sep 30, 2013 and when I plugged it in at home it was making a loud rattling sound every time the compressor started. Don't buy the whirlpool fridge model wrf560sfym01 - it's a lemon (the damper needed to be replaced).
Excerpt: Everything is great for our use, without going to extreme height since I need to access it from my wheelchair. They could enhance the inside light by putting one in on each side at the top instead of in the very center.
Excerpt: This is a great choice if you have space constraints and need a smaller refrigerator but looking for a french door with upscale design and features. There aren't as many options at this size and the Whirlpool model looks great, fits great, and holds a lot.
It is a great fridge. It is a very well built product.

Excerpt: Love every aspect of my new fridge. I had it for two months now and I haven't had any issues with it at all. The only thing I am not a fan of, is how the temperature control displays. Instead of numbers, it has snow symbols and it is hard to gauge what should be the best temp. Other than that, it is a great product. The design utilizes every single inch available fully.
Pros: Design, Easy to use, Energy Savings, Innovative, Performance, Sound level, Style
Excerpt: I love this Whirlpool frig..we went from a side by side of a little larger cu ft. to this new French door frig and oh my goodness what a difference in all of it..from the bottom freezer to the larger amount of food the frig will hold. Love the lights, the water in the door, the freezer, where I don't have to almost empty it to see whats in there or get something out of it like we did with the side by side.
Pros: Convenient Features, Design, Easy to use, Energy Savings, Innovative, Performance, Sound level, Style
