Good refrigerator - bad user's manual

NoiseNanny, AJ Madison
19 August 2011
  • Summary: Once my new refrigerator was delivered and installed, I began to hear awful banging and knocking noises on a continual basis. I consulted the troubleshooting section of the Whirlpool manual, where I learned that such noises were normal in newer machines; apparently the overall improved quietness of the new fridges revealed sounds that were masked by the noisier motors of older fridges.

Great Energy Efficient Refrigerator

Anonymous, AJ Madison
31 January 2011
  • Summary: This product had a very good Energy rating which is the main reason I chose it along with the larger than usual freezer space. It has worked well, lots of space and storage options. It was brighter than necessary for me (has 2 light bulbs), so I just removed one. I didn't think I'd like the "handles" (indentations for opening/closing) but do. However, care is needed so your fingers don't get squeezed. You can't open the freezer while the refrigerator door is closing!

Great Frig for the Money

Anonymous, AJ Madison
9 September 2010
  • Summary: This refrigerator is small enough to fit between and under my kitchen cabinets. At the same time, the interior space is efficiently laid out so that it maximizes storage capacity. The door has a handle and is easy to open and close. Yet the door shelving is very solid capable of storing half-gallon containers with ease. I'm looking forward to my next electricity bill.
