Summary: Purchased approx. 2 1/2 years ago. Was delivered with a good size dent in the side- not a big issue for me/not real visible. Perfect size for my guest house/apt. Useable space inside the refrigerator is surprising very spacious- holds alot, even large platters. Freezer space is a bit more limited. No issues with noise. However very unhappy with it's ability to hold adequate temperatures. Only has one thermostat that controls both areas (refrig.
Summary: When we received our fridge it was all dinged up and the front had been bent and nicked. It was clear to us that the damage had occurred either in transit or else before the fridge was shipped. Because it is stainless steel, you have to stand at a certain angle to be able to see the nicks.
Summary: I had been searching for long time for a high quality refrigerator that would not take up so much space in my small kitchen and at the same time be spacious enough to fit all my groceries. At 69.5" height, the Summit is almost 9" inches taller than my former regular size refrigerator and actually fits more groceries. The freezer has two levels and makes it easy to find what you're looking for. This refrigerator satisfied all my requirements at a reasonable price.
Summary: I have a very small kitchen, and the dimensions of the refrigerator that originally came with the unit (32 inch depth) were way too big: it jutted out into the floor space and blocked our dishwasher door. Finding a smaller refrigerator was a challenge - many so-called "counter-depth" models still came out too far for my needs. Others were too small or cheap-looking. This size is perfect for my small kitchen; roughly 25 X 25, truly counter-depth.
Summary: I bought this item about 3 years ago--and it's still awesome! It fits in my small kitchen, but still provides plenty of storage. I've even transferred fairly hot metal stock pots onto the glass shelves (to cool down stock) and haven't had any problems with shelves breaking. A good friend has the same refrigerator. His only complaint is that a 6-pack won't fit in the door. (And maybe Summit has corrected that problem by now--seems like an obvious oversight.
Summary: bought this refrigerator for well over $1000 and am truly disgusted by it. Makes a noise that I'm unable to stop and one of the shelves has already broken. Also it arrived dented and dents very easily Cheaply made and not worth the money.
Summary: I needed a machine to fit in a very specific area the former owners of my apartment had created for the refrigerator. Because I wanted the look of a stainless refrigerator, I had only one choice, this one. The good news is, it's a fine machine, 10 times better than the piece of garbage the previous owners left for me. There is a surprising amount of space, and it works well.
Summary: This was the last item we bought under an appliance package we purchased through AJ Madison. It's the perfect size of what we needed, appears to be a good product and our hope is that it will stand the test of time. It did have a minor scratch on the side and some damage on the front when it was shipped, but AJ Madison's customer service took care of that nicely. The main fridge door is a little hard to open, so I wouldn't recommend it for elderly folks.
Summary: The fridge is nice, looks as expected, but it's supposed to be easy to switch the doors from opening on the left to opening on the right. My contractor tried, my husband and I tried -- to no avail, there seems to be an issue with the internal seal preventing the door from closing when the hinge is switched. The "Service" booklet for the Fridge only mentions service centers in South America, which isn't helpful to me in NY, NY.
