Summary: I bought a Samsung refrigerator and the freezer door broke within two weeks. We opened the door no more than 5 times. Customer service is the worst I have ever experienced. We bought a package of four Samsung appliances and two of the four did not work.
Summary: We have owned our refrigerator for 3 years and it is on it 6th repair. Samsung will not do anything to assist thier customers. The problems started one month after the one year warranty. Parts take weeks to get. This has been a nightmare of an appliance.
In my opinion, this Samsung refrigerator is terrible.

Summary: In my opinion, what I like most about this refrigerator is the convenient layout inside and easy access to both top and bottom storage areas: in this sense French door fridges seem great, love it. However, this SAMSUNG fridge may suffer from a design or manufacturing flaw, I don't know just my opinion from being the owner of one for three years.
Summary: After about 2 years our icemaker started to leak and it creates a big block of ice in the bin not allowing it to dispense what little cubes are in the tray. I called sears and Samsung but it is no longer covered under warranty. I plan to purchase the entire icemaker assembly to see if that fixes the problem but after some research on the internet it's possible that the circuit board is bad and therefore overflowing the ice machine.
Summary: We've had this fridge for 2years. The control console was replaced in the first 3 months (warranty covered). Ice maker went right after he 12 month warranty expired and now it is freezing up inside due to poor design on twin cooling system. It is impossible to find a knowledgeable/qualified Samsung repairman. There is only one certified in the state of Maryland- an hour away from us!
Summary: Don't buy it. It has ruined my floors. The coils are now freezing. There is a class action lawsuit out on this fridge for the frozen coil defect. Not happy. An update for you regarding my floors. Samsung contacted me and offered to pay for an assessment of the fridge (not repair). The man came out and said it was a nipple in the drain tube that freezes. They now have an "upgrade" which is longer than the original. The engineers messed up the first time.
Summary: Well, buy a Samsung fridge if you need a massive pile of crap in your kitchen... Buy a Samsung Fridge only if you don't like ice makers... Ours is about 3 years old. The Ice maker quit about 6 months ago. We contacted Samsung for repairs. They sent their factory authorized repair service, A&E Factory Service. They actually had the nerve to ask $535 dollars to fix the ice maker. Buyer Beware. Samsung = high dollar JUNK.
Summary: I purchased my 26X series Samsung French-door refrigerator and also had the good fortune to remember to buy a Lowe's 4-year extended warranty. Samsung products are junk, plain and simple. Once Korean-made quality products they are now made in China and are garbage. Samsung does not support their products unless you know how to create trouble for them. Just a month after the Samsung warranty expired the icemaker reservoir did, too.
Summary: The ice-cube maker was a little noisy at first, but either we have gotten used to it or it doesn't grumble anymore. There is plenty of storage for large trips to the store, and we waste less fruits and veggies now that they are eye level. The door holds two gallons of milk easily. We have had this for 6 months now without a hitch. The finish is beautiful and other than baby hand prints we haven't had one blemish.
