Summary: Twin Cool RF197ACRS - Worst fridge I've ever owned. I bought this fridge 2 years ago. The automatic defrost system on this fridge is majorly flawed and can't be fixed. Samsung has known this for years and is still selling this model even though in the US there is a lawsuit going. The cooling system for he upper cabinet is packed in a small space with a fan at the top pulling air from the top and pushing it at the bottom.

Summary: Do not buy this fridge. In fact, I recommend avoiding all Samsung products after my experience with this company. My fridge is only a year old and already we are looking for a replacement. The pain began peeling off the handles within months. Samsung refused to do anything about it. We had to make our own cloth handle covers. In less a year water started pooling in the crisper trays.

Summary: I purchased this refrigerator in May 2014. I chose it because it was the highest-rated (by Consumer Reports) refrigerator that had the required dimensions and that did not have a water dispenser in the door - a feature I did not want. I like this refrigerator. It fits the available space nicely, and it looks nice. it is not noisy. However, I do not love it.
Summary: We have owned this model for almost 3 years. Water accumulates in the right crisper. The coils located in the frig behind a panel freeze over and the drain freezes over. The fan freezes over and the frig no longer cools. My husband who has worked in HVAC thinks it is poorly designed. If we had known before we never would have purchased this frig. Buyer beware!
Summary: We read the reviews after purchasing and after water began collecting in the vegetable drawer. We took the entire back off the unit and thawed out the line. It worked for about 3 days and then water began collecting again. IN addition the ice maker in the freezer compartment only worked for about 2 weeks. There is no help or recourse for this terrible product.
Summary: I have a Samsung Refrigerator which is just over 5 yrs old and needed to be repaired out of warranty. The freezer door on the actual refrigerator never really closed properly as I always had to give it an extra push to make it seal properly. After a while the problem seemed to get worse as the door at times would reamin slightly open causing food spoilage and high electric bills. I will admit I am getting older as I am a retired on a fixed income and age is settling in.
Summary: This unit came in our newly renvoated condo, so I didn't make the purchase myself. A little more than a year after we moved in, I noticed the refrigerator section was not cooling (though the control panel still showed 36*F, the temp as measured was more like 56*F). Some online research showed that this model has a known issue with icing of the fresh food evaporator. Sure enough, this is the issue we were experiencing.
Summary: Coming up on the 1yr. mark, there is nothing I don't like about this fridge. I've had several over the yrs., including Kenmore, Frigidaire, GE, and others. Except for the Kenmore which lasted about 18yrs., the others were crap. I did experience the buzzing noise the first couple of days and called the service people, who very quickly realized I had the Ice Off power button ON, when in fact the ice maker was not hooked up yet.
Summary: I bought a Samsung refrigerator and the freezer door broke within two weeks. We opened the door no more than 5 times. Customer service is the worst I have ever experienced. We bought a package of four Samsung appliances and two of the four did not work.
