DON'T BUY SAMSUNG PRODUCTS

Kevin S. Garrity, Amazon
17 August 2014
  • Summary: The Samsung RB195ABBP is the worst refrigerator one could buy. This product is deficient in design and the manufacturer has been aware of the problems for years. The defrost system does not work.

Poor qualiity

JK, Amazon
22 July 2013
  • Summary: I bought a Samsung refrigerator and the freezer door broke within two weeks. We opened the door no more than 5 times. Customer service is the worst I have ever experienced. We bought a package of four Samsung appliances and two of the four did not work.

Poor qualiity

JK, Amazon
22 July 2013
  • Summary: I ordered a set of stainless steel Samsung appliances from Home Depot. What a mistake! Two of the four appliances do not work. The freezer door on the refrigerator broke after two weeks. I woke up Sunday morning to find water all over my kitchen floor and the food in my freezer unthawed.

SAMSUNG does NOT acknowledge their fridge has a design

Bernard Lenteric, Amazon
1 March 2013
  • Summary: Letter to Consumer Reports: I bought this SAMSUNG RF266ABRS fridge because it was recommended by Consumer Reports in August 2009. This fridge - and other SAMSUNG fridges - should be taken off the recommended list because there is an inherent design defect that causes ice buildup on the evaporator...

Broken in only three years

Amazon Customer, Amazon
7 July 2012
  • Summary: These are expensive appliances. As such they should last longer than 3 years before the freezer stops freezing and all your frozen items thaw. Samsung only gives a 1-year warranty. My family and I have had refrigerators for many decades and never have we had one that stopped working after only three...

Limited choice on arranging the shelves

Anamandy, reviews.lowes.com
6 December 2011
  • Summary: This would be a great refrigerator for someone else but not for me because there are only a limited amount of options for adjusting the shelves. If you cook a big pot of soup, or sauce, etc., even at the highest level you won't be able to fit the pot in this fridge.
  • Cons: Low quality, Not durable, limited options

Great Fridge!

Val, reviews.lowes.com
10 November 2011
  • Summary: This is a beautiful refrigerator, classic in design and perfectly suited to my kitchen. Lowes did a fantastic job of special ordering this for me. Each person I was in contact with was professional and helpful. Since it was a special order I expected to wait a couple of weeks to receive my fridge.
  • Pros: High quality, well priced

Less is more

D. Golde "goldfinger", Amazon
16 February 2011
  • Summary: We recently remodeled our small eat-in kitchen. I choose this model because it fits into a 33 inch opening. Also, counter depth is nice because things don't get lost way in back so easy.
