Summary: This has been a lemon. The freezer door won't stay close. Twice we lost everything in the freezer while we were gone on vacation. We will be replacing in the next month or two. It was a waste of our money. We will never buy another LG product.
Very dissappointed owner, LG Electronics Ratings and Reviews
19 July 2013
Summary: I have had this paperweight for barely 2 years. Three service calls, now it is dead with the evaporator motor burned out. Freezer door pops open whenever you close the refrigerator which leads to other problems. Less than 6 months the crisper draw slides broke.
Summary: Good fridge...bad freezer. Fridge and Freezer share an air passage and this causes the freezer door to pop open almost every time the fridge door is closed. LG's answer is to raise the front of the fridge, not to improve the magnets in the factory seals on the freezer.
Summary: The freezer doesn't have a light in it. I really hate that. The ice bin under the ice maker doesn't leave enough room to scoop out the ice. If I would have known these things I would have chosen another refrigerator.
Summary: This refrigerator is the worst designed I have ever bought.. If you slam the refrig door to hard the freezer door opens a slight crack, if you forget to push on both doors your meat and other goods get all icy and ice cubes stick together. What I liked about this refig was no door handles.
Summary: Our family is very impressed with the roominess of this fridge. Lots of shelf space in the door and in the unit itself. The price for this product compared to it's design and usefulness is a super value! There is a very interesting curve design on the doors that gives it a sleek look.
Summary: My old frig was crouded and food would get shoved to the back and hidden. I was forever throwing out things that could have been eaten if we would have seen them. Often I would just throw things away because it would end up that way.
