Summary: In the past 7 years I have had two LG refrigerators. The first one failed after about 3 years. It needed a new part. LG no longer made the part. They did the right thing and gave me a partial credit towards the purchase of new refrigerator, so I bought another LG. After two and a half years the replacement is having problems. Summary: My wife and I purchased the LG LFX31925ST about a year ago and like other consumers within the first two months we had a complete freezer failure. Had a tech come out, he didn't have the parts needed to fix, so we had to wait another two weeks, he came back and made the fix and we thought everything was in the clear.
Summary: We have had problems with our ice maker clogging from the first week we got this. For some reason, the ice thaws and refreezes and then you can't dispense ice. You have to thaw the clog in the ice bin and start the whole process over again...so that you can repeat that process when it clogs again days later. Had a repair guy come out just to tell us to read the troubleshooting instructions provided next to the ice maker on how to remove a clog.
Summary: After doing tons of research on various different refrigerators and after picking my jaw up off the floor after seeing how expensive appliances have become since I was last in the market for them, I finally decided on this one. I am super happy that I did. First and foremost it is a show stopper. A piece of art for your kitchen. It's like having a ferrari parked in your kitchen. It's gorgeous. But more importantly than that, it works great and holds so much food.
Summary: This refrigerator replaced a 21-year-old, 24 cf GE side by side. We purchased it in May 2014 and it has been trouble-free. The only issue we had was a dent in one of the doors upon delivery. It took about a month to get it replaced, but the service person who replaced it was polite, professional, and had the job done in under 15 minutes. Summary: Bought this in January 2014. In September, we got error messages on the machine. The fridge had been making fan like noises and then the fridge stopped cooling but the freezer still worked. When I called the appliance repair company, they said that this is a common problem and that there is a design flaw with this model which LG is well aware of...but they continue to sell the fridge. The fridge was still under warranty but it took 2 weeks to get the part in.
Summary: Very happy with this fridge. It looks great and is very quite. Tons of room and the interior lighting is outstanding. I like the options to adjust the temps and the easy to get to water filter. The quick access door is great too. I thought it was a little gimmicky, but my wife really liked it so we got it. I must say it is pretty handy. One note, this fridge wont fit through a standard door frame. I had to remove the doors from it and then it fit with ease.
Don't buy this unless you like to deal with crapy product

Summary: We purchased this product two weeks ago and the freezer has never worked. Today, after all the hassle with the LG customer service (see my other comment under Dylan's post), a repair person finally came and looked at the refrigerator. The conclusion was the compressor went out and a sealant was not properly installed. THIS IS A BRAND NEW MACHINE. How can the compressor went out already? Our retailer (not Amazon) will not take it back and LG, of course, doesn't help.
Serious mechanical problems & ice build up not visible unless disasssembled.

Summary: At first I liked it because it was very quiet & could barely hear it at all! But, I had to Return it after multiple service calls to get the temperature to stay constant and at the set temperature. The service man advised me it was working perfect on each visit so I purchased three thermometers to put inside and one for the freezer. This proved I was correct and unit was not working properly.
