Summary: So far this LG product has lived up all of i's promises. If the ice maker fails I will post it. I bought it a Lowe's and their delivery and set you was excellent. They found out that I was moving in on a Sunday and came right over to discuss the unit and all of the features.

Summary: LG does not stand behind their appliances. #ER1F The indoor ice maker is designed to fail. When the bin becomes full, the fridge tells the freezer to stop sending cold air to the ice maker, the ice melts, that water leaks onto the electronics.
Excerpt: This is a great unit with one drawback. The freezer fan runs nearly continuously and although I wouldn't say it is loud, it can have a whining sound which disturbs the quiet in the house. Still overall, a recommended unit.
