Summary: We have own for several years now. It has functioned perfectly. It is so quiet you have to put your ear up to it to hear it run! It also is extremely energy efficient. Keeps all it's contents perfectly cold or frozen with very accurate temperture control. As I often say to others, LG is the best!
Pros: Performance, Style/Design, easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality
Summary: I love the design of this unit, having the freezer on the bottom, and how roomy it is overall. Also, it runs very quietly, and most of the time is silent. There is one drawback, that it has frost on some spots, like the sides of the baskets. Still, I am generally happy.
Summary: This has been a good refrigerator. The temperature can be adjusted for the refrigerator and freezer separately. The pull out shelves are a great addition and a separate meat drawer is wonderful.
Pros: Performance, easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality
We have had HORRIBLE experiences with our LG fridge

Summary: We have had HORRIBLE experiences with our LG fridge. Failed compressor within four years of purchase. Very difficult to find a service company who will work on LG products because parts are not readily available. It took over a month to get our refrigerator repaired.

Summary: This is the most poorly designed refrigerator we have EVER owned! After buying it (with a 3 year service warranty) we have had the compressor replaced twice, the motor replaced twice, and the main circuit board replaced once.
Summary: As a family of five this refrigerator is able to handle a week's worth of our groceries fairly easily. I love the large drawer (deli drawer) and that all the shelves pull out. It is also easy to clean up spills and take the drawers out for cleaning.
Summary: Stainless never looks clean. I spent an hour trying to get prints and smudges removed, only to have streaks everywhere. I have tried every stainless cleaner I can find. It's only my husband and myself. Can't imagine if I had kid prints too! If not for this issue, it would be perfect.
Summary: Beautiful to look at, but like many products today, design flaws reduce the efficiency or life span. In this case, it's the appendage attached to the left door, called a 'mullion'. It's supposed to swing in when the door is opened and out when you close it.
