Indesit fridge freezer: good quality for the price

msleggy, House of Fraser Kitchen Appliances

  • Summary: What I liked most about this is that the fridge is logically above the freezer, with a pretty decent size split between the two. Many others in this price bracket have it the other way around. I also liked the 2 veg draws as I thought salad items/more fragile things in one and root items in the other. Although the larger bags of veg are a bit too bulky for these.
  • Pros: Value for money, Easy to use, looks good

ok, but noisy

marclincs, House of Fraser Kitchen Appliances
16 September 2014
  • Summary: It's a good value for money no doubt, it's big enough for 2 adults+child (or 2). Not too many bells and whistles but it's A+ energy class and has auto defrost fridge which is enough for us. The only major problem with it is noise and it is very noisy comparing to 10yr old Lec which it replaced, another thing is freezer drawers, they just open but not slide out so you have to bend to put anything in or kneel if you want to put something at the back.
  • Pros: Value for money, Easy to use, looks good
  • Cons: Noisy, freezer drawers do not slide out

Excellent Everything

9 September 2014
  • Summary: We love that our child cannot open either door as the last one we had was constantly being opened, it is total bliss knowing that the doors are designed that way. Also after holding the shelf of the other fridge up with blu tack & old 2l bottles filled with water underneath to keep it up, to have 2 shelves where you can see everything & have the bottles below just be there with their own liquid & disposable after well it is all brilliant & all that fits into our small...

A little bit noisy but does the job

DeborahM89, House of Fraser Kitchen Appliances
5 June 2014
  • Summary: A fairly decent fridge freezer. The freezer compartment seems quite small so you couldn't fit a monthly shop in one go. I have an open plan kitchen living room so you can hear the noise quite a bit but not when the tele is on. I am pleased with the product and if had to re buy in the future would go for the same one. I would recommend for a small family.

  • Pros: Value for money, Easy to use, Good build quality, Quiet, looks good
  • Cons: the electric cable was too short needing a lead.

Excellent buy

  • Summary: I agree with other reviewers , it would be good to have drawers but I've improvised and used two small tidy baskets per shelf , they work well although I do lose a little storage space. In answer to the noise question- I don't find it particularly noisy but I would say it makes different noises from any other fridge/ freezer I've had!

Does the Job

PJohn, House of Fraser Kitchen Appliances

  • Summary: Capacity not as big as I had hoped and is noisy when generator kicks in, that said the fridge freezer works well and has everything I need, with hindsight I should have gone for the slightly taller more popular hotpoint model but as I said it does the job..
  • Pros: looks good
  • Cons: Noisy
