Summary: We bought a GE monogram refrigerator in 2005 with 12 years warranty for parts. In 2014 the fridge stopped working. GE sent in repair crew FIVE times and costed us $700 for labor and nothing was fixed! It has been one month that we don't have a working fridge and we stuck with a piece of expensive 1,000 lb. junk. GE has the poorest quality of product and service that you can imagine!
Summary: Do not buy any GE appliance. Monogram is standard GE with fancy wrapper. They will cost you big time. $3000 refrigerator; I threw it in the trash. It was simply junk and destroyed $100's worth of food. $1500 dishwasher leaked and damaged wood floor within 5 years. Dishwasher didn't clean well and all rubber parts completely deteriorated within 5 years. If you want nothing but trouble and expense, buy GE. Unfortunately there may not be a good alternative.

Summary: OK purchased GE Monogram Refrigerator and it malfunctioned within 3 weeks of installation. GE sent a repairman and he said it could not be fixed for long term - he advised a=that same problem will happen again. It has happened again and repairman came again. GE says they will repair it everyday but will not give us a new one. the item cost almost $6200. Buyer beware. . . .
Summary: We purchased a Monogram 42 inch side by side stainless steel and I love it. I haven't had a problem with it at all. It was custom ordered and we paid big bucks for it. 27 x 42 x 84 inches. With 7 kids always opening and closing it all the time, it always stays cold and still has all I need and then some. I have had other GE fridges, stoves, ovens and Microwaves and haven't had one bit of problems with any of them. We are for sure a GE family and we love them.
Summary: I second these reviews. The storage on the refrigerator side is very, very small. Also the shelves are hardly adjustable. The milk bin has to be placed in the middle limiting the options of moving the other bins around or buying extra ones. The same goes for the shelves inside the refrigerator. Since milk bin is sort of fixed, the shelves are not really adjustable by much. Also, the freezes makes weird noises one the door closes. On a positive, it looks beautiful.
Summary: I purchased this model because my kitchen designer limited my options for a built-in by assuming I was going with a high-end Viking or Sub-Zero. Not wanted to spend $10K or more, I opted for this GE Profile, which got better reviews that the GE Monogram. I have been very displeased with this purchase. The doors are VERY difficult to open on both the refrigerator and the freezer. GE told me that once the doors had food in them, they would be fine....? They're not fine.
DO NOT Buy Any GE Appliance & Avoid Frustration and Grief
6 January 2012
Summary: Do yourself a great favor and read the innumerable complaints in the internet about GE refrigerators and other GE appliances before considering buying anything made by GE. I wish I had done it before buying an expensive GE refrigerator. You will be horrified by the massive number of complaints about malfunctioning GE refrigerators and other GE appliances reported and stunned at the lack of responsibility, concern and contempt displayed by GE.
Summary: "Great price! Shipping was fairly prompt but we were not in a rush as our existing refrigerator still worked well enough to get by. The freight company was also very good. Pleasant & no hassle. They came when they said they would come and got the refrigerator to where I needed it. Their website advertised free delivery and that was what I insisted on. Glad I did as the delivery went smoothly without any additional cost.
