Summary: Bought this 2 yrs ago - have had trouble with the ice maker many times since. First time under warranty- next we are doing ourselves. Now it needs replaced. Was told by salesman to not buy LG or Samsung as the "parts come from Korea and you have to wait" - but I've never seen the bad reviews for LG or Samsung that I see for Frigidaire. Had our old Whirlpool for 20 yrs - never had to fix it. Will never buy another Frigidaire refrigerator.
Summary: Frigidaire's shelves and drawers are poorly engineered and failed on my "professional" refrgerator after less than three years. Their customer support offered 10% off as compensation for my poor experience. Laughable engineering and embarrassing customer support. Don't buy Frigidaire products.
Summary: The refrigerator came in 3 weeks. That part is good. Then I opened the packaging and found two dents in the freezer drawer. I took pictures and sent them to the seller. Also there were missing parts for the handles. The seller said they would replace the entire drawer including the missing parts. Three months later I am still waiting for the new drawer and my handle is wobbly. The seller does not return my calls or respond to my emails.
Summary: Paid top dollar for the pro series appliances in 2011 for a newly constructed home. Ice maker was junk right out the gate. Never made enough ice. Then it quit making it altogether. Warranty work started at 6 mos. after install. Company we purchased it from did the work. Now they're out of business. Can't get anyone at Frigidaire to return emails. Phone calls lead to being put on hold while a recording tells how important your call is.

Summary: I have gone from frustrated to ANGRY!!!!! I bought a new appliance kitchen set (Frigidaire Professional Series) less then 2 years ago. Thursday night the refrigerator stopped working. I called Frigidaire Corp. 1st thing Friday morning with the code displayed & was told it was the control board between the user interface board & main control board (Power up failiure).
Summary: Works fine, happy with it, except for the ice maker. If you happen to leave the ice maker unused for over a week, the ice starts melting and leaking all over the floor. Sometimes it also freezes the water line, requiring you to call service or go through a complicated process to pull the fridge out and use a hair dryer on the line (the service tech showed us how to do this).
Summary: I can't think of any purchase I regret so much. The first unit was replaced; I'm now on the 2nd. Both are failures. The first unit: 3 visits from the repairman - the fridge wouldn't cool properly - we lost all our food 3X. Many $ lost in wasted groceries, ordering out food, going and getting more groceries. Many phone calls to ream the guys at the appliance store, Fridgidaire customer service and many hours listening to a very steamed wife vent her frustrations.
Summary: The Frigidaire refrigerator along with their other appliances are poorly made and only last a couple of years. The customer service is unhelpful and uncaring. The ice maker stopped working shortly after the warranty ran out (it never worked properly). It has been repaired twice at my expense using Frigidaire replacement parts. The parts lasted approximately 3 months before giving out.
Stay away from this company, they make bad products.

Summary: Yes I agree, their electrical design for these products are incredibly faulty. The only give you a one-year warranty regardless of the consumer outcry found literally everywhere on appliance related websites. The control panel was designed to work with most of their models, so it's hard to escape it. To be safe stay away from this company when buying refrigerators, or any of their products for that matter.
Summary: We have had this refrigerator for about 1 year. After a few months the icemaker stopped working. Called Frigidaire, they diagnosed a freeze-up problem (really? It's an icemaker...shouldn't a "freeze-up problem" be expected?), told me to use a hair drier to melt the ice. The icemaker started working again...but it is ridiculous that you need to periodically get out the hair drier to keep it working.
