Summary: This fridge had all the features we wanted for our kitchen renovation and came highly recommended. Unfortunately, we have not had a good experience. Upon delivery, the freezer door was not properly seated and we experienced a lot of frosting until a repairman could come and correct it. Four months later, the lower icemaker failed and had to be replaced. A month after that, the refrigerator compartment stopped cooling properly.
Summary: I have had this appliance for the last 4 years. I have hated it everyday. The ice maker has never worked properly, even after getting it serviced a few times. Now it just holds ice we buy at the store. The customer service at Electrolux has been horrendous. Don't buy Electrolux!
Summary: Going on three years now. The 2nd one has been flawless. Runs quiet. Looks great. Works great and easy to clean. Great crushed ice. It is exactly what we wanted with gobs of freezer room. The first unit had major ice maker problems and we lost 2 batches of food. It would work for a couple of month and then stop cooling. Be sure to get the unit that makes little pyramids for ice. The first unit made tubes of ice and it was terrible.
Summary: I bought this for my beach house. What a disappointment! The ice maker broke down right away. The repairman told me my model was a 2010 when I bought it in 2012 from Sears. it was a floor sample but no one disclosed it was 2 years old. I suspect it was a return because of what a lemon the ice maker was. I called Sears and they said nothing they could do but as a Good Will gesture they would send me a $50.00 gift card. I never received it.
Excerpt: This is an expensive refrigerator and not a quality product for any price. Purchased in June 2013 and it already needs a computer and thermostat. Repair will take 2 weeks. No space for tall itmes or milk.
Summary: Style is away from the norm, however , there are many benefits . The freezer door is the poorest design I have ever seem. It sounds like it is grinding away at each opening. Best thing about this box is the lighting. All items are clearly visible .
Summary: Electrolux refrigerators are known to be luxury. Well, that's why I decided to purchase it, as a luxury product - one can conclude it is a great quality and reliable product. Toward my dismay this Electrolux Fridge always breaks down on us, at the most needed time. We live in Arizona where heat is knocking our door. Our ice maker broke maybe 3 time so far in 2 years since we've owned the refrigerator. I mean, the product looks awesome, and it has wonderful capabilities.
Excerpt: The refrigerator has a flowing design with no sharp edges, It's compact and excellent for space, the controls are excellent. It's quiet with a good selection of your needs i.e.. Water, Ice etc.
Excerpt: This counter-depth refrigerator was needed because of the size of my kitchen--would have preferred regular depth, so there is a little less room than ideal. However, it IS easy to stock, once you figure out where to put things. It is nice to have an ice dispenser on the door, as well as one in the freezer. However, the top one burned out within two weeks of purchase (short in wire). A replacement part of needed, ordered and installed within 10 days and it now works well.
Excerpt: We needed to replace our refrigerator immediately...not much time to shop and our requirement was white, French doors with a bottom freezer. Apparently the world wants stainless these days! However, we locked into the ELECTROLUX...perfect counter depth and seemingly great quality. I did notice, surprisingly, that refrigerators of all brands seem to be absent a butter dish and egg tray/container. Fortunately I was able to rescue those from my "deceased" refrigerator.
