Summary: Refrigerator is going on 3rd year and is still working fine. I use when camping or travelling on vacation so refrigerator really only gets used about 6 weeks a year. My only complaints are there is no recessed loop to allowing you to run a cable through (to lock in place) as well as handles are...
Summary: The fridge/freezer is great, but the handles will not last. Be prepared to buy replacement handles, and often. They are not cheap either - about US$18 each, plus shipping. I would expect to be able to lift this fridge by the handles when it is full, but they broke when I moved an empty fridge.
Summary: Plastic handles broke very soon after purchase with the freezer empty. Freezer sat for six months and when I got back to the boat the PLASTIC HINGES broke. After repeated calls to customer service they stated that I was out of the one year warranty and they were sorry.
Summary: I recently got hit with a series of heart attacks and was diagnosed with Diabetes (type 2). After spending 3 long weeks in the hospital- went home and began a PBD (Vegan diet) based on the regiment of the book: "The 30-Day Diabetes Miracle" (EXCELLENT BOOK!
Summary: Have just had this 85 quart cooler for a few day so I've only tested in the home. While either freezing or cooling it works great, it is very expensive though. The handles are plastic as are the hinges.....can't wait to see how long that lasts.
Summary: What can I say. We purchased this unit in early June 2014 to put on our boat for our trip to Alaska. We powered it off our AC inverter system and set it up with a timer to only run during the day while we were underway. We left home with it approx. 2/3 full of pre-frozen dinners etc.
