Summary: Great fridge . I am easily running it off solar. One thing tho. You should go ahead a replace the 12v plug right away. Somehow they put a cheap one on which caused the fridge to not work properly ..untill I figure out it wasn't getting the power it needed from the cheap plug. Enjoy.
Summary: Purchased to use as an additional refrigerator in our RV. Unit worked great right out the box. Cools down quickly and operation is quiet, which is important to us as it resides in our bedroom. Fit and finish is very good. Holds temperature to a plus/minus 2 degrees from our setting of 39 degrees.

Summary: Great Refridgerator, puts the Igloo/Coleman coolers to shame. Only downside was I planned on mounting it in my truck like a refrigerator instead of an ice chest, but it will not/ manufacturer does not recommend it be stood up. Had to take out the passenger seat to make room for it.

Summary: Have not use this yet but I plugged it in the other night and with in 10 min it was a -3 in side. I looks well built. The leaches are are of good quality my option was put in a new $2300.00 fridge / freezer in my fifth wheel and only gain 20% more freezer space this was a no brainier.
Summary: I have had two of these units on my boat. I am a liveaboard cruiser and spend winters in the Bahamas. These units last about 2 years and then start to fail. up to that point they work fine. They are very expensive to have repaired costing more then the original price.

Summary: It's eplacing an oooollllddd Norcold, that up and died. The Whytner is about the same size as my old one, just about 4 inches taller. Cools down quick, and keeps a cold temp. Also, it uses a lot less 12 volt amps than my old one.
