Summary: My freezer in the kitchen was overflowing to the point that the door wouldn't stay closed. Getting extremely irritated I started researching small chest freezers to put in my second room in my apartment. We picked the Haier based on reviews and price point. The freezer is wonderful, quiet and has lots of room. It comes with one (1) basket and I'll need to buy more but if that's the only complaint I'd say I'm in good shape.
Summary: my freezer went out last night and needed one at 1030 looked up local inventory and they said they had it in stock. get to the store and the 5.1 freezer was out so i grabbed this one and only paid 200 in the store so thats why im saying check you local store it could save you a bunch of money
Summary: I am enjoying this freezer. Brought an upright before it was too small and cost twice as much. This one is great and I have it in the garage. I love it and two friends of mine have gone and gotton one as well. This is the perfect size to get more in that you need and doesn't ice up like some of the others do. The price was great aa well with a 3 year warranty for only $25.00 more.
Summary: Few dents at bottom when we got it. But not enough for us to return it. It's plenty big enough for our family (2 men eat us out of house and home). Like many others have said it would be nice with another rack.
Summary: It was delivered to the store a week before scheduled so I could pick up early. This 7.1 cu ft is HUGE!!!! You can store huge amounts of product. Could use a removable shelf in the middle, but its just fine. Gets cold within 1/2 from plug in.
Summary: So far,freezer works great and is plenty big. Only problem is went thru 3 different boxes to find one not all bent and nicked. Looks good on package outside but when you open them at home you find all kinds of damage on exterior. Be sure you open box at store even when box outside looks fine.
Summary: This is my first ever product review. This freezer seemed perfect until it died. It was never abused or even moved since day #1. The light was still on and the motor running...but no cooling. We lost a lot of expensive meat etc. Haier says if a tech determines the compressor unit is bad, they will ship me a new one. But the cost of diagnosis and repair, freon charge etc. is close to the price of a new one! Frustrating!
