Summary: The freezer came. The box looked like it had been dropped from the truck. When I took the freezer out of the box, it too, looked like it had been dropped from the truck. I took a chance and plugged it in. After all, a few dents is not going to bother me if the thing worked. It sounded like it was running, but the next day it was warm inside. I turned it off, then back on, it made a hissing sound then stopped making noise all together.
Summary: Product has performed as expected, but we have had it for only a few days. However it was damaged as received----apparently dropped on left rear corner---bent the frame and dented the skin, but appears to be only cosmetic (I hope!
Summary: when the item got to me the freon was leaking out i paid to have it delivered to me for a reson then I had to find and pay some one more money to return it to the store so i lost more money then i would have spent if I went some where else.
Summary: Like most of these other reviews indicate, the freezer arrived with the box all smashed up. There are a few dents and a crack in the plastic on the door. The freezer functions fine but it's frustrating that Walmart doesn't bother to add additional packaging or get the manufacturer to do so. This same model is sometimes available at Home Depot and none of those reviews mention shipping damage. The freezer works quietly and well so far. We've only had it for a month or so.
Summary: This is a great apartment freezer that is both compact and very efficient. It froze a tray of ice cubes in what seemed like 10 minutes. The only suggestion for improvement would be to add a light that comes on when you open the door. Otherwise, it is a great solution.
