Summary: I'm a home brewer and this freezer does what I need it to do and fits the equipment I have. However, when I received it, one of the legs and one of the wheels was bent as was part of the lower body. I just bent it all back with my tools at the house. I've read several reviews about this kind of damage from shipping, so I'd have it shipped to the store. It will make it easier for a rejection and a re-order. In the end though, I do like this chest freezer.
Summary: As I read on previous reviews, the first freezer came with three dents. I wasn't contacted when they were delivering it so was not home. Got the second one and so far so good. Like the looks and it was just the right size. Two weeks later the damaged one still sits in my patio waiting for pick up.
Summary: The freezer arrived within days of ordering in perfect shape. Installed in garage, plugged it in and it got cold fast. Runs quietly, looks great. The price is ridiculously low for the apparent quality of the unit.
Summary: I was using this model to replace an older failed Danby model that had been converted into a kegerator. The new one was to serve the same purpose. I tried to no avail to obtain the inside dimensions from the manufacturer in order to determine ahead of time whether i could fit 2 or 3 small kegs inside. Although the interior was not as described, i was able to fit 3 kegs inside to my delight. Packaging was intact with only a few scratches noted on the lid.
Summary: Reviews of this model are generally pretty good. My experience is no different. It pretty quickly gets to freezing once you plug it in, and that's all there is to it. My only complaint, which is similar to what other people seem to have experienced, is that it was a bit dented on arrival.
