Summary: I have a love/hate relationship with this one. Some days, it smells like a beautiful floral vanilla on me and other days, it smells like root beer and almonds. The drydown always comes through as a beautiful creamy almond vanilla milk but sometimes I just can't stand the first hour with that sweet synthetic note. So many people feel this is a better rendition of vanilla by YSL than their more recent frag Manifesto, but I totally disagree.
Excerpt: Blind buy after reading and reading and wear it to work. Open with fresh citrus middle with flower +powder dies down with soft vanilla+powder. Product for +30. It's sweet vanilla. Not so crazy about the scent.
Pros: Citrus, Clean & Fresh, Long-Lasting, Vanilla
Summary: I swapped with someone for Cinema, I had never smelled it but liked the description. I am really happy with the way it work son me, it reminds me of both Sensi(almond-vanilla powdery) and Elizabeth Arden Green Tea(citrus and tea). I see someone said they smell tobacco, I personally interpret that green scent as tea or tea leaves. Its not a smoky scent at all like Shalimar. I do get floral but Im not sure which one, it doesnt smell like Jasmine to me .
Summary: I tried this perfume many times and had always been put off by the first citrus notes. If you give it time it developes in a floral, sweet, tender scent that makes you smile. At the same time it also manages to be sexy. Not the boring kind of sexy, where nothing is left to imagination (like JPG Classique). This is the French girl sexy: a natural kind of sexy, a woman who's like she were 21 forever, with only your shirt on and uncombed hair.
