Summary: It took a while for this to grow on me. It wasn't at all what I expected after reading the fragrance description or the reviews. I don't get any real hints of vanilla from this scent. However, it is a nice, soft, comforting perfume. It is more of a wintery perfume for me. It reminds me a being warm and cozy under a blanket on a cold wintery day!! It is powdery and a little spicy to me.
Summary: Cinema opens for me with an aggressive citrus-y floral. The almond blossom and cyclamen are soapy and maybe a bit aldehyde-y. I can see why this could immediately lose some fans. Lucky for me in this particular case I am the mighty jack frost, and the fragrance doesn't necessarily blow up in my face like some others experience. It's smell like a bit of a yucky citrus floral and waits patiently on my skin for half an hour to warm up, not projecting much.
Summary: Cinema eau de parfum is a lighthearted citrus vanilla-almond perfume. Clean, clear, translucent, and very slightly bitter from the yellow florals, but in the end, the amber benzoin base notes dominate with the almond blossom, leaving the wearer cocooned in a warm, sweet cloud. It feels like you are softly drenched in a feathery golden mist. It is surprisingly versatile and long-lasting, though after the first five minutes, I can not smell it on anymore.
Summary: Cinema is the perfect mix of fresh, clean, slightly sweet and warm. Nothing too much, nothing lacking. Long lasting with a pretty good sillage, a couple of sprays and you're good for the day. It's a long time since I've smelled a perfume that made me go "wow, this is beautiful !" Some reviews say they get a lot of jasmin, and an Alien vibe.
Summary: I used to generally only go in for strong florals but recently started branching a bit and this is one of the perfumes that makes me glad I did! In fact, it was a blind online buy for me based on the other reviews here! It's absolutely GORGEOUS! Sophisticated, elegant, classy and very feminine in a lady-like manner. It's on the strong side and can be whiffed some distance away. Whenever I have it on, I can't stop smelling it.
Summary: This is so beautiful , A very beautiful and elegant lady having some kinda x-factor in her comes in mind when ever i sniff it. sweet but not cloying with a hint of almonds prevailed by musk. just awesum.
Summary: Although Chanel Allure was my signature scent for many years, I wanted something without so much citrus. I actually bought this blind as it is not carried in any stores in my area. Cinema is everything that I wanted. The 1st minute is a little overpowering. However, this quickly transforms into a gorgeous white floral. The drydown is almost beyond words. It is warm amber and white musk with a little balsam to keep it from being too heavy. Most of all, it's a true EDP.
Summary: Absolute love! I've been testing this for almost a year at fragrance counters and I finally caved in and purchased. It's a fresh citrusy vanilla that's appropriate for both day and evening, as well as all seasons! Really incredible perfume.
