Summary: Instantly recognizeable as a member of the Alien fleet, and not just because of the jewel bottle. The official note list claims this flanker should not smell of jasmine but rather lemon and orange flowers plus pink grapefruit; it is nevertheless very similar to the Alien signature jasmine blast, an end-of-days white floral.
Summary: I found this deeply discounted at a local shop and knowing that it is discontinued and that I love this bottle design but haven't been able to tolerate any of the other versions of Alien, I thought this might work. This has a whole lot of peppercorn bite and spicy ginger upfront. The center of Alien Aqua Chic is indeed very sheer freesia that is fresh, summery and light compared to the other flankers I've encountered.
Summary: A fresh & zingy lemon in the opening, lightly spiced with ginger. Shortly after, however, l get a strangely swampy aquatic note, which to my nose does not fit with the rest of this fragrance at all. Thankfully, the familiar solar accord of the original shows up after around twenty minutes, joined a little while later by a quite lovely freesia note.
Summary: Alien Aqua Chic...L'eau de gingembre! The opening is pretty similar to classic Alien( may be a bit sharper) but heart makes this scent different....it turns to fresh spicy floral... A bit spicy ginger and lots of floral ..and sure this differs as another version of classic Alien....it feels lighter thiner ,watery floral! It gives the sense of coolness and freshness more than classic Alien!
Summary: I just bought this and like the clean light whiff of traditional Alien lightened up a bit. I love the big nasty original, but this one, unlike most "lightened up" fragrances makes me smile. The lemon verbena lifts the opening up a bit and I get more ginger spice from the opening. It lasts like the original Alien on my skin and projects almost as well. It dries down into that lovely amber I love. A good summer flanker for me.
Excerpt: I used to wear this fragrance all the time a few years back but the high price tag used to put me off so when I spotted this reduced in the January sales, I decided to treat myself. Price & availability The fragrance retails for around £50 for a 40ml bottle and £70 for an 80ml bottle, it is also available as a EDP which is slightly more expensive.
