Summary: Tweed by Lentheric was always a favorite scent, though I found it much less easy to come by in the USA than Britain. I only recently realised that Tweed is now made by Taylor of London, when I received this as a Christmas gift. The scent of the new Tweed is very nearly the same as the old, perhaps just a little less 'deep' if that makes sense, but I love it as much as ever.
Summary: The tweed was not boxed, and even though it hadn't been opened as far as I could tell it smells like tweed that had sat many years and lost its original scent. It was always a favorite of mine, but this does not smell like it is supposed to. Will not buy it from here again.
Summary: As a child, my mother wore Yardly's Tweed. On impulse, I thought I might be able to locate this fragrance, a memory from some 60 years ago. Service was excellent ( on the part of Martha's) but sadly my mother's Tweed was not of this ilk. I have it, but don't use it.
Summary: When I was a teenager, yrs ago.... this was my fav! Not quite what I recall. Smells like an old perfume from my Aunts' collection on her mirrored tray on her bedroom dresser, that's been there a little too long.
