Summary: I had a sample of this and as soon as I opened the lid of the glass sample tube and got a whiff of what had spilled on my fingers, I ran to wash it off. It smells so soapy and old-ladyish, at first whiff it really smelled like any generic bar of floral scented soap! I tried it a couple of more times just to give it the benefit of the doubt and no change, this kind of scent definitely isn't for me, though on the positive side I did notice it to be not too overpowering and...
Summary: As much as I like to think of myself as a scent explorer, I can barely tolerate this for longer than an hour before frantically scurrying to a bathroom to scrub it off. It smells just like my grandmother, a fantastic woman who had a very pronounced old-lady/ancient powder smell in her later years. Even so, I don't think she'd really go for this. On me, the EDP has a healthy sillage and projects quite well with a spray on each wrist.
Summary: This smells horrible on me, all I can smell is pepper and its so nauseating. I can't stand it. The only reason I don't get rid of it is because it was a gift. I only wear it around the person who gave it to me. The fragrance is long lasting though, if only that damn pepper note wasn't so pronounced, this would bearable.
Summary: I got this in a little envelope as a free sample, thinking it would be a nice light floral, but as soon as I opened it I was instantly reminded of my grandmother, and not in a comforting chocolate-chip-cookies kind of way. I tried it on, having read good things about it and thinking it couldn't possibly be that bad. It did smell a little bit better on my skin, it reminds me of my boyfriend's shampoo, which isn't exactly pleasant, but comforting.
Summary: I am still on the fence with this one, even after 3 or so years. I was so excited to try this, it sounded wonderfully modern and feminine and I was hearing great reviews. Finally got my hands on a mini, and I have to admit that I was disappointed. It's very light and powdery, and I don't really enjoy powdery fragrances.
Summary: I really like the bottle. At first spray though, I kind of hate this. It smells soapy in an old woman way. Cosmetic-y. And if being a "green" fragrance means smelling like a vegetable, well then thats what this is. After half an hour or so, the dry down wasn't bad, but I hate the initial scent so much that I'd never choose to put this on again.
Summary: Bought this perfume today. All I can say is that it was made for a confident, chic, and intelligent woman. I think that it will be my HG fragrance. I like the softness and sophistication of this fragrance. It does not last all day, as an ADP should, however, it does seem to last a while on me. To me, this fragrance smells alot like Stell McCartney, which I am asking my hubby to buy me for my birthday in July. This perfume is worth every penny!!
Summary: I received this as a gift from my boyfriend. I've gotta say, this is the oddest perfume I've ever owned. It's so completely subtle that I feel like I'm not even wearing it. I, nor anyone else, can ever smell it when I put it on. In the ads it smells sweeter than it actually is...on me it smells like I showered in lemon juice. Seriously. What the? Otherwise, Infusion D'Iris is an interesting scent and the bottle is beautiful.
