Summary: Rose 4 Reines (i prefer Eau des 4 Reines, though) is marketed as a rose soliflore that features 4 different roses (french, bulgarian, turkish and moroccan, which are actually 2 types, one centifollia and 3 damascenas, so i better say 4 origin denominations) so one would expect a very intense rose experience.
Summary: The product box was crumbled on one end and would not be suitable for a gift. The perfume itself had a cheap smell to it, with a lot of alcohol and not much fragrance. It also doesn't last long at all...maybe an hour max. I definitely would not buy it again and I don't think it's worth the price at all. The "rose" fragrance was not what I was hoping for.
Summary: I absolutely love the smell, it doesn't have any chemical smell just pure roses. What I dislike about it is it doesn't last. Two hours after I put it on, it's gone. Nice fragrance, but definitely my last bottle. I've switched to Gucci's Flora line and I'm much happier with the staying power, also it gives me the soft feminine smell of the Rose 4 Reines.
Summary: It seems like years that I have been looking for my signature scent. Today.....I found it ! I ordered L'Occitane because my mother swears by their lavender lotions and hand sanitizer. I have tried 3 rose scents sold on amazon 1) Smells a bit too strong and too much like old ladies 2) A bit too young and fruity 3) Fragrance to light and does not last more then 10 minutes. L'Occitane is .....just right........
Summary: I picked this up for my wife who wanted a rose scent that smells real. She can always identify the artificial fragrances and is quick to point them out. This stuff smells outstanding. It is rather strong at first, so 1-2 squirts is all you'll need. Trust me.
Summary: Ordered this for myself for Christmas. It arrived quickly and well packed. The bottle is pretty. However when I first spritzed it on, while the smell was definitely of roses, it was a bit murky, or muddy. I am familiar with the essential oils of all of the 4 rose species used, and their distinctive regional smells. I didn't get that pure rose scent. I waited for the drydown to see if it had a nice base.
