Summary: Amber isn't the gray waxy substance in whale vomit -- that's ambergris. Nor is it a different form of the jewel amber, which is petrified tree resin. Nor is it just one tree resin. Amber is a mixture of different resins - labdanum, benzoin, balsam, combined with spices, and sometimes florals. Ambers are made by various artisans, and sourced out.
Summary: I used to love spritzing this on occasoinally, mostly on cold days when I felt I could need a little comfort. This fall, I decided I actually wanted to own a bottle. Now I have one, I'm not that enthousiastic, 'though I still like it. You should just be careful you're not wearing too much of this edt, because than it tends to create an overly heavy, somewhat synthetic smell. Also, I don't quite like the opening notes.
Summary: I obtained a tester of this product when I was in Germany over 8 years ago. I loved it so much and every time I wore it I got atleast one compliment. I have spent the last 8 years trying to locate this fragrance. The name and smell as stuck with me. I took the sample container into the Bay and even they exclaimed how wonderful it was.
Pros: Clean & Fresh, Draws Compliments, Great Smell, Long-Lasting, Sexy
Summary: This is a very nice frangrance. I can not keep a full bottle. My adult daughters come over just to get a spritz when going out. Soft enough for everyday wear and not over kill for evening wear. I dont usually write reviews but I really like this one.
Pros: Clean & Fresh, Draws Compliments, Great Smell, Great Value, Long-Lasting, Sensual
Summary: I usually rotate between about 4 different scents and this has become my winter scent. I just crave this during the cold weather. It is a warm comforting smell, to me the vanilla stands out (I don't really get the milk and cereal references). A lot of fragrances give me a headache, but I don't have a problem with this one. The staying power is decent (I don't use a lot due to the headache issue). Until I find a scent I like better, I will repurchase this.
Summary: I received this as an extra in a swap, and was really surprised! I'm very picky about fragrance but this one is nice. I would describe it as a grown up, sexy vanilla musk scent. Not sure that I'd buy it, but it is nice.
Summary: This perfume is quite a surprise - the opening note has nothing absolutely to do with the middle and base, and I wish the fresh, citrus-floral top note would stay a little longer as I really love it. It settles into a woodsy oriental middle before lingering on as a familiar vanilla. It doesn't evoke "milk and cereal" as claimed in the description, more like a toffee or caramel though it isn't very gourmand.
