A Case of Mis-marketing?
14 July 2012
Summary: I am happy finally to have had the opportunity to try Issey Miyake LE FEU D'ISSEY, thanks to a fragrant friend in Switzerland, and now I know why it was discontinued. The problem is that during the first few, crucial—at the counter and deciding whether to buy—moments, this composition smells not at all unlike mildewy, rotting wet wood.
Summary: Hmm.. Le feu D'issey is weird and unique! The first whiff was very sharp, quite annoying and nauseating.. Anise and coriander smelled so overwhelming and artificial almost like some kind of medicine! While the clock counts it gets more creamy, milky.. Anise doesn't disappear it stays with you until the end, it only becomes smoother.. After 2-3 hours wearing it I get a slightly salty dirty feeling along with musk and a touch of vanilla..
Summary: I've been using this perfume since almost 10years!... and absolutely love it!. they only sell it in europe or on line... not easy to find. Absolutely love it!... by now, is my signature smell...
Summary: I'd use for very special occasions. With generous use after a shower the smell still lingers. The down-side is UNAVAILABILITY!!! And I would not recommend it to a friend...my fragrance only!!!
Pros: Clean & Fresh, Draws Compliments, Long-Lasting, Sensual, Sexy, women love it, Works well on a guy
Summary: This is wonderfull, this is my favourite perfume but not available in any European Country. After searching for more than 1 year I finally found it. I just ordered 2 bottles just to make sure that I never have to do a day without it and I would sure recommend this to any other women. If you wanna be special and sexy than this is the perfume to be !!! Enjoy. Greetings from Holland.
