Summary: I have used Hugo Pure Purple for many years, but could not find the 3 oz one in stores - the smaller packages I found were also damn expensive! I was glad to find it online, and at prices that are even better than in the stores. I was introduced to Hugo Pure Purple by a store owner when I first started using 'designer perfumes'.
Summary: This is literally a wrist sniffer. IE, you can't smell it unless you sniff your wrist. Tired of not being able to smell it on me, on the weekend I soused myself in 20 sprays. 5 minutes later, another 20 sprays. Still no trail. It's only to be smelled if I sniff my wrists. That isn't what I wanted. For such a faint scent, it does manage to last 4 hours but what's the point you can't smell it unless you sniff it.
Summary: I ordered a sample of this because I heard it was supposed to smell like marzipan, and I love marzipan and anything almond-scented. Unfortunately, I didn't get much of a marzipan/almond scent from this. Instead I get baby powder and raisins and something sour. Nasty. Glad I only got the sample, since this is just not something I'll ever be using.
Summary: I was disappointed with the scent of this fragrance. It smells cheap and needless to say the scent does not last on the skin. Will not buy again and will not recommend it, but to each his own.
