Excerpt: When I first saw the promotional images for La Petite Robe Noire EdT, Guerlain’s newest fragrance, I was struck at how young it looked. Guerlain has always had a “womanly” vibe to it and this one channelled “girly”. This imagery was enhanced by that jaunty swing to the little black dress from which the fragrance takes its name. This was further supplemented by the artistic drawing of the fashionable young Parisian girl that accompanies the fragrance.
Guerlain La Petite Robe Noire Modele 2 : Perfume Review
18 February 2011
Excerpt: Few women are happy to have only one little black dress in their wardrobe. I suppose this was the reasoning behind Guerlain’s introduction of La Petite Robe Noire Modèle 2 , which follows La Petite Robe Noire originally launched in 2009. At this point, I wish I had an emoticon conveying my general disaffection with flankers so that I do not have to waste space on yet another rant.
Excerpt: La petite robe noire, little black dress, is a perfect concept for a fragrance. Scent is as much of an embellishment as beautiful clothing, and an appropriately selected perfume can lend much to the allure of its wearer. Moreover, the idea of a little black dress — the perfect, versatile garment — is very appealing. As such, Guerlain La Petite Robe Noire ended up on my must-sample list.
