Excerpt: Absolutely amazing scent. Definitely a unisex fragrance - it can be masculine or feminine depending on the bearing/confidence of the person wearing it. Both fresh and inviting while at the same time imparting a unique hint of dirtiness/naughtiness. Probably more of an evening scent than an office scent if worn by a man. On slightly dry, cool skin it is not quite as long lasting and stays much closer to the skin (e.g.
Pros: Great Smell, Sensual, Sexy
Cons: Low-moderate Sillage, Only 3-5 Hours Longevity
Excerpt: Jicky is a profound fragrance that's subtle, classy, and pleasingly distinct. So many perfumes are overpowering with only one note. Not Jicky ! Walking around wearing this perfume makes me feel well dressed even in my jeans. It truly is my signature scent and I am grateful to have discovered it. I am also grateful to FragranceX for having it in stock because it is not available in retail stores where I live.
Pros: Draws Compliments, Not Overpowering, Sensual
Summary: I was very late to the Guerlain JICKY party, having acquired my bottle only a couple of years ago. I had never sniffed it anywhere, so upon delivery of the package, which I had ordered from an online emporium, I experienced my very first spritz of this legendary nineteenth-century creation--or so I thought.
Summary: It all started more than a year and a half ago with Agua Lavanda Puig. First it was just a small bottle of the cologne, then the big jug o' splash, and then the hunt for the larger sized green glass cologne bottle (found @ La Tienda). And by then it was too late... Lavender. I was hooked. Then somebody threw in some vanilla. Vanilla! Sweet syrupy kid's stuff! I remember wearing Coty's Raw Vanilla back in '96 when I didn't know any better... Caron Pour un Homme.
Summary: I expected something strange, so strange that I was prepared to be completely turned off. Jicky was so far from being repulsive, that it was actually quite humourous. In fact, Jicky for me is pure love. This is a beautiful, smooth yet crisp lemon and herb blend. On my skin Jicky becomes rather spicy and bold, almost foody with a strange cinnamon and vanilla concoction that smells very much like cinnamon doughnuts.
