Summary: Chant d'Aromes could have made our world (at least on the olfactory level) insanely better, had the young forayers into Perfumeland chosen it as their entry-level fragrance. And think about it, they could have - had they been given a chance. This gentle ladylike composition is all about soft focus and seamless blending. It starts with a medley of somewhat nondescript green notes, not entirely unlike Chamade, but softer sans the galbanum.
Summary: During my beginning as a sales assistant in a noble perfume shop I always was awestruck when somebody was wearing Chant d'Aromes. Even today, I remember all those posh women: Mrs. So-and-so and her kind, who dropped by in the afternoon just to find out if there was something new. They were served a glass of champagne or a cup of coffee, and with a bill of 500 Deutsche Mark and a coloured bag, they left to continue their shopping.
Summary: My Grandmother has been a "Guerlain Girl" since she was 6 and has tried many from their back catalogue. She loves "Jicky", "Shalimar", "Mitsouko" and "AA Ylang & Vanille". This is her new fave.
Pros: Clean & Fresh, Draws Compliments, Great Smell
Summary: This is an unusual and aromatic fragrance that lasts well (at least on me!) it has drawn compliments. I know of no other scent like it. I wear it through autumn, and winter and switch to something more floral in the late spring. I have been using it for thirty years and never grown tired of it.
Pros: Alluring, Draws Compliments, Great Smell, Long-Lasting, Subtle
Summary: This fragrance was always in my wish list since it is not available in my country. My first impression was a clean flowery scent that reminded me of a softer, cleaner version of Chamade by Guerlain. Unfortunately, after thirty minutes or so, the scent was almost gone even after a generous application. This is an interesting and romantic fragrance but if it had a stronger lasting power, then it would be the perfect summer scent.
Summary: This fragrance has a soft floral smell, like a small flower filled country garden. It is subtle but pleasing - the kind of fragrance people only notice after a while but when they do they want it!
