Summary: Unusual scent which had a hint of B.O smell to it. I must admit that I still liked this fragrance. Received no compliments on it. Strange fragrance, a difficult one to explain - a mix between pink grapefruit and BO.
Summary: I've been lemming this for quite some time. I love citrus and patchouli fragrances. Finally tried this while I had a girlfriend with me who is great at identifying notes. Little spritz and I got the grapefruit, maybe something piney and a boatload of other things. She said the same thing "there's so much going on here!" I got the earthiness right away and liked it. Wandered around some more, waited about 20 min and took another sniff. GDMFSOB. I got the BO smell.
Summary: Delightful fragrance. I was afraid this would open with a burst of grapefruit soda, but thankfully, no. I would call the first impression something classy and dry.. cool and refreshing. That settles into a true grapefruit with a hint of warmth, but not too much sweetness. The scent stays truly fresh. Though I wish it had more depth and complexity, it is lovely as it is - it just keeps me longing for more of it...
Summary: I have very mixed feelings bout this one. I adore the initial fruitiness, the tangy note. And then, eh, depending on a day (weather? hormones? my mood?) it stays lovely or turns into a 'baby' smell, and I mean a smell of milk and pee :-( I've hed a love-hate relationship with Pamplelune, for years and would give loads for it not to have its wicked side. Overall, one of the best citrus smells ever, if it agrees with you.
Summary: I personally loved the smell of this going on me...until DH started making hints that maybe I should use deodorant and, not that he does not love my sweat, but other people might not be as understanding. So, to make the story short, it is clearly perceived as B.O.
Summary: I wish there were a "maybe" option for the "Would you buy this product again?" question. I bought a sample of this because so far I've loved all of the classic Guerlains I've smelled and they've all melded into my skin beautifully. This one is kind of.... Um..... Odd on me. I don't usually go for citrussy scents and had no idea what this was except it was Guerlain so I figured I'd probably like it. It went on very STRONG GRAPEFRUIT! Astringent.
Summary: Isn't skin chemistry funny? I don't mind this on me, infact, I kind of like it. And I *get* a bit of the sweaty-BO accord, too. Hilariously, I've asked others what they've thought of it on me and it ranges like crazy. As per my sister: rotten grapefruit. My boyfriend: it reminds him of the vanilla lotion that girls in high school used to wear (I'm guessing Bath and Body Works) and he really likes it. I guess I amp up some of the vanilla in there?
Summary: I'm giving this 3 lippies because in spite it's not my kind of perfume, it has amazing staying power... so for those of you who enjoy EXTREMELY citrusy fragrances, I say go for it (WARNING: I'm emphasizing the word "extremely"... ladies, please note that this is the kind of scent that might actually make your nosestrils feel as if they had been stabbed!) It's quite hard to describe this perfume...
Summary: I love citrus, including grapefruit, and wore this for quite a while before realizing that unfortunately my chemistry doesn't work with this scent. I do indeed get the b.o. note, and am a little embarrassed about all the months I wore this to work, in summer no less!
Summary: I can see how this might be a beautiful scent on someone else. I catch hints of the bright citrusy prettiness, but mostly it smells "feral" (as another reviewer put it) on me as well. Very sharp, and unfriendly. My friend smelled my arm, and immediately said, " cat pee." I made him try it again 2 hours later, and he said, " No more cat pee, but BO." Sigh. I would definitely sample before purchasing, but I bet this is dreamy on someone with the right chemistry.
